“GRACIAS, MARIO KEMPES” April is an odd month in Valencia. Fallas is nothing but a faded memory and spring is still spluttering into life. With the added rain and increasingly unsure weather, there is a tendency with some to batten down the hatches… However, the Easter break comes as a welcome relief for us all. In this colourful edition, we have a report on ‘Easter in Valencia’ and a little interview with the internationally renowned artist Paco Roca regarding his latest exhibition at the IVAM. In the centre of town, we visit the increasingly popular ‘Bharat’ for our ‘Indian Restaurant of the Month’ and Helen Westwater of ‘La Ola Fresca’ has a Polenta recipe especially for our readers! BRITISH CEMETERY OF VALENCIA

24/7 Valencia: Could you tell us all about the British International Cemetery of Valencia? Diana Clifton-Sewell (Vice President): “The history of the British Cemeteries in Spain began after 1831 when, on 13th November, a Spanish Royal Degree authorised the establishment of suitable places for the interment of non-Catholics whose lives ended in Spain or on its shores, but without any church, chapel or any sign of public religious worship. Though British in name, the British International Cemetery (known until recently as the British Protestant Cemetery) is actually a Non-Denominational one with over 21 different nationalities and various religious beliefs, including some Catholics who wished to be laid to rest beside their loved ones, because only in 1989 was it mandated that non-Catholics could be laid to rest in the Municipal Cemetery. Located opposite the Municipal Cemetery, our Cemetery has a surface of approximately 2,376 m2, with an ornamental facade designed in 1879 by the Valencian artist, Antonio Martorell. A metal fence topped by owls with funeral resonance, protects the entrance to the grounds. The gate that leads to the cemetery itself, the stained-glass doors to the porch and the chapel, were designed by the Valencian architect Vicente Sancho i Fuster. These elements of medieval style, typical of the religious buildings of the time, together with some pre-modernistic ones, have held out as best they could against the passage of time. Gravestones and crosses have not always been so lucky; in recent years people

have carried off decorative friezes and carved angels, and damaged some gravestones. There are around 350 graves but only 296 are actually recorded. We know that previous decades witnessed burials, but the records were either poor or subsequently lost. Havoc and death came with Spanish flu in 1918 and later to the defenders of the Spanish Republic. Unfortunately, during the Civil War, records from 1936-40 were lost in the chaos, in spite of the efforts of the Swiss Consul and Red Cross to continue its supervision. International Brigade volunteers, victims of bombardments and flu victims may have been anonymously interred in this ground. The most recent burial was of Guillermo Fink Herreros on 21st August, 2012, a descendant of Henry Fink, who came to Valencia as a British train driver, and subsequently set up his own railway business here. Our Cemetery bears witness to the history of whole families – Morris, Eknes, Bartle, Tapps, Craven and more – who participated in the industrial production and railway building epoch that brought them here to stay, in addition to those serving on the merchant ships that carried them here. The Cemetery is still active, and nowadays has a Garden of Remembrance for the burial of ashes, whilst the Chapel continues to be available for services of every denomination. Additionally, there is an opportunity for families to place a wall plaque commemorating the life of a love one who has lived in Valencia. This Cemetery has recently been integrated, together with those of Madrid

and Bilbao, into a charitable foundation by the British Government. The British Cemeteries in Spain Foundation, will foment interest, attract support and create synergy between them, since each one is considered the responsibility of the expatriate community living there. The maintenance of the British International Cemetery is a considerable responsibility for volunteers, so the message we want to give is that, with the help of many, the Cemetery can remain operative, available to all religions, and thus its continuance as a dignified place of rest is anticipated for a very long time into the future.” Interview by Owl

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW MARIO KEMPES ‘ EL MATADOR’ 1.What are your memories of the 1978 World Cup? I genuinely believe that winning a World Cup is the greatest possible achievement for a football player. On top of that, I had the great fortune to win it in my own country of Argentina…which is the most emotional feeling of all. It was wonderful to see the happiness on the faces of “la gente.” The most “lindo” i remember is celebrating the title with the people, happy that we had finally put Argentinean football well & truly on the map and I clearly remember the euphoria of the public. Even though the national team had nearly always had a good squad with great players over the decades, Argentina had never won a real title until ’78. We started it then and Argentina won again in ’86. Now, we’re still waiting & waiting for a third title but that’s life…

2.Can you tell us your impressions of Valencia from the 1970s up until now? The ‘loco’ years that I lived in Valencia were spectacular. It was wonderful to be playing for a great club with such a rich history. It was one of the most beautiful cities I had ever lived in. As the years have gone by, the city has got better and more attractive each time I visit. The way people treat you and the quality of life in Spain is unique. They say ‘Ché’ in Valencia, which sounds like what they say in Argentina (but I don’t think it is connected) but it makes you feel at home. Given that I arrived in Valencia in 1976, I’m still stunned at the beauty of the place and the ‘cariño’ of the people. I was here for the 100th anniversary celebrations of Valencia CF recently and I still find the city to be a truly marve-

llous place. Via planning, investment, big events and structural changes Valencia has become a great tourist attraction in Spain and abroad. It has grown immensely. Over time I would say that modernity has definitely had its influence and Valencia has grown & become one of the great cities in the world. 3.Tell us something about your book ‘Matador.’ My autobiography goes from my childhood up to the present day. I missed all sorts of parties & events as a youth because of football matches & training but I wouldn’t change it for a thing. It is the story of a sportsman with plenty time on his hands. You did miss out on a lot of things because of the sacrifices of being involved in sport but

the world of football introduces you to some marvellous experiences, like the one we’re are living with the centenary. 5.You’ve worked all over the world as a football manager from Indonesia to Bolivia. Does each culture experience football in the same way? Football is football wherever you are... be it in Argentina or Bolivia or anywhere in the world. What makes a difference is the way people feel about football and the manner with which they support their team. Some fans make a lot of noise, others shout more, some fans are like warriors at the party and others are more pacific. When all is said and done, I think football is one of the most beautiful games in life. In the USA, where I live, you have a huge

following for Baseball, Basketball and American Football. However, on a world level, football is the number one sport. “Futbol es futbol” and I would not change it for anything. 6.You were near death after a sextuple bypass operation. Do you see the world in a different way since then? I had a heart attack without expecting it as I was physically in good shape. I was saved in time as I was due to have a back operation and they discovered that my heart needed operating on too. Maybe I perhaps do appreciate even more all that which surrounds me, including my family. However, there are things that I’m still prohibited from taking since the operation but I still enjoy this marvellous life to the full…

7.Despite your success you have always maintained your humility. What is your philosophy of life? I think having a humble outlook comes from upbringing. I don’t think that a person having money or talent converts them into some sort of phenomenon. If you believe that, you run the risk of become ungrateful to others and looking down on them. One of the most gratifying things after retiring from sport is when people recognize your human qualities as a person, which is the best way to approach anything. Thanks to God, I have been fortunate in that way.

BODEGA SIERRA NORTE CELEBRATES ITS 20TH BIRTHDAY It is hard to believe that Sierra Norte, the Utiel-Requena based bodega with interests throughout the Valencian Community and Jumilla, has reached just its 20th birthday! Nonetheless, this was celebrated with a tasting of the new wines and a buffet on Monday March 4th in the prestigious balcony VIP of Valencia’s Mestalla stadium. Distributors, the wine press and other guests were invited to enjoy a convivial evening and learn of the bodega´s new major announcement. In line with other bodegas from the area, it will soon be possible to visit the bodega famous for its ‘Pasión’ range of monovarietals, amongst others. Later in the Summer, Sierra Norte will open the Casa de Calderón, a new bodega on the site of a late Victorian predecessor with previous owners including the Mompo family (original Grao exporters) and home to the ‘Dominio de Arenal’, part of Vinival,

who were still producing wines in the early years of this century. The new bodega (8000sqm) will provide capacity for the bodegas production with exciting modern, efficient and sustainable architecture and a visitor centre whilst the old site will eventually be converted to accommodation to go with the wider wine -tourism package. This will include a barrel park, for ageing the wines, a chapel, a museum, landscaped terrace and garden.

Manuel Olmo (Winemaker and owner) gave a brief presentation in which he explained that the “first 20 years had been dedicated to the vineyards, production of the wines which have made their own reputation but we have yet to enter into the sector we consider relevant, which is wine tourism.”

We tasted the Mariluna Blanco, clean, fresh and aromatic, the Cerro Bercial Blanco fuller and excellent with the jamón and ibericos which were served during the buffet. The Pasión de Moscatel and Bobal Rosado were also very fresh, clean and expressive.

The 2018 wines will also be the first to carry the organic wine certificates, which Sierra Norte have been working towards together with a certificate accrediting them as suitable for vegans. 2018 had not been the easiest year to produce wine, using careful selection of the grapes at various times and even irrigation, “a year of micro-surgery.” as Manuel described it!

New wines were also introduced from the bodega’s other sites, Oclaviano Verdejo from La Roda and Equilibrio, a range of wines from Jumilla which

will include a new Sauvignon Blanco and differing reds from the Monastrell variety. These are the result of six years work according to Manuel, with a great concentration on the quality of grapes which their elaboration requires. The Pasión de Bobal and Moscatel wines have been awarded Gold Medals in the Monovino competition. The Equilibrio Sauvignon Blanc has just been released following the presentation. Pale yellow with green flashes, clean and bright. Very expressive nose, Elderflower, cat’spee, yeasts, white flowers, tropical notes such as pineapple and banana. In the mouth dry, acidity kicks in later, finishes with hints of fennel. Indeed, the Equilibrio 9, a wine from the Monastrell variety and from vines with over 40 years of age has just won a gold medal at Mundus Vini as well as a gold at the Asia Wine Trophy and most recently at the Monovino competition. The wine has had 9 months in French and American oak. The Cerro Bercial Ladera Los Cantos, a red from Bobal with 60 years of age and Cabernet Sauvignon with 40 years has won a silver medal at the Spanish Winemakers Federation competition. This is a wine with the

second (malolactic) fermentation in new French oak barrels and 18 months crianza. This was a celebration worthy of the career path and development of this bodega. We look forward to reporting further on the opening of the Casa Calderón and new wines from Sierra Norte as they come on-stream. The Valencian Wine and Food Fair opens its doors between 25-29 April between the Alameda Metro station and Flores bridges in the dry riverbed gardens of Valencia. Readers can rest assured there will be some 40 wine producers and top artisan bakers, cheesemakers, butchers, and other gastronomic delights being exhibited at 31st Wine and Food Fair. Details of the latest Wine and food fair are beginning to emerge. Improvements to the control of the fair are being introduced which will see entry for under 18’s only allowed if accompanied by a responsible adult. Entry for this age group will be free. The fair will encourage responsible consumption and it is hoped to attract more families to the event. Entry will be by purchase of a ticket costing 5€ which includes 2 tasting tokens. A wristband will be available, which can be electronically programmed and will contain either

5 tokens (5€) or 10 tokens (10€) and which can be recharged. These will give continuous daily access and it will be possible to buy them on-line. Gastronomy and food will get a bigger element of promotion this year with the introduction of Gastroespai, where visitors will be able to watch showcookings of traditional dishes. The wine-tunnel with around 100 different wines will also make a return in this fair. Details are emerging on Proava’s Facebook page ‘Mostra Proava’ and you should check in there for details of advance ticket sales and further new developments.

‘BHARAT’ INDIAN RESTAURANT On a mellow Saturday night in early spring, a couple of the ‘24/7 Valencia’ team dined out at this newish Indian restaurant, right in the heart of the city. It was a mostly Spanish crowd with a pleasant & upbeat atmosphere. The genuine Indian cuisine was most enjoyable and the choice of dishes was equally impressive. With a helpful staff and a distinctive & fresh interior, eating out at ‘Bharat’ turned out to be a memorable experience. We recommend that you book beforehand as the restaurant is getting more popular as time goes by. Post-dinner we interviewed Navdeep, our welcoming host, specifically for our readers…

1. Please tell us about your background and experience in the restaurant world… I have been working in hospitality & cuisine for 30 years now. I had worked all my life in India beforehand. In 1989, I started out as a dishwasher and kitchen helper while I was studying catering & hotel management in Germany. I worked in different hotels and restaurants there. I came to Spain in 2001 and i worked in ‘Hotel Los Ángeles’ in Denia. After a couple of years, I found that the British are big curry lovers but there were no authentic Indian restaurants on the Costa Blanca. We founded the first ‘Bharat’ in Benidorm in 2003 and it has proved to be very popular. At the beginning of 2019, we began the new ‘Bharat’ in the city of Valencia.

2. What is the philosophy of ‘Bharat’? Bharat means “India”. It is the real name of India, just like “España” is the real name of Spain. The name “Bharat” itself shows the authenticity of our Indian cuisine. 3. Could you describe the interior and the clientele? The interior itself is designed to give a sense of the atmosphere of Jaipur, the pink city of India which is famous for tourism. The majority of our clientele is from Spain at the moment but we do have lots of British and European customers as well because we are located in the heart of Valencia. 4. Can you tell us about some of your many specialities?

As I and all of the staff are from the north of India, our specialities are our chilli chicken dishes and all the tandoori dishes. 5. Do you have a menu of the day? Yes, we do have a ‘menú del día’ which has four courses plus a bottle of wine, coffee & dessert all in MAHARAJAH style and the price is only 49€ per couple. 6. What desserts can we enjoy? We make our own ‘Gulab Jamuns’ and ‘Kulfis’, which are mouth-watering. 7. How does Valencia compare to Benidorm? Valencia and Benidorm are two different worlds! Benidorm is packed with young British people whilst Va-

lencia has tourism from around the whole world.

SPRING INTO SPRING WITH ‘POLENTA VEGETABLE BAKE WITH THAI STLYE SALAD’ Before the heat turns up, Spring is the essential tonic after the chills of winter. The moment to expel negative emotions and renew and balance your immunity for the rest of the year. As we unfurl into spring we are warned to “keep one foot in Spring and one in Winter”. This recipe for Baked Polenta and vegetables with Thai salad topping does exactly that! Polenta is made from ground cornmeal and is a great calming source of gluten-free carbohydrate that will give all that energy for the upward growth of Spring. Mixed with lots of vegetables, busting in vitamins and fibre plus an extra boost of Vitamin B rich nutritional yeast and topped with a special zip-zappy ginger, lime and vinegar dressed salad to cleanse and wake up your senses! SPECIAL TIMES AT THE MESTALLA It seems that Valencia have turned the corner since the New Year. Indeed, they may have that spectacular season all their fans are craving for in their centenary campaign. Even the Spanish team has visited the Mestalla to help celebrate the club’s one hundred year history. A European qualifier against Norway was the present of the RFEF (Real Federacion Española de Futbol) and local interest was piqued further with the inclusion of Dani Parejo and Rodrigo and in the starting line-up. Both acquitted themselves well and the Valencia striker even managed to get on the score-sheet in the 2-1 victory over the Nordic country. The March celebrations continued the following day when a match between Valencia legends and Spain legends took place. The match brought back many of the favourites from different eras in the club’s history as players such as Kily González, Cañizares, Pep Claramunt, Albelda and Vicente graced

the hallowed Mestalla turf once again. Even the legendary kit man ‘Españeta’ got a look in and was given a place in the VIP box for the day. One notable omission at the party was Gaizka Mendieta. He was already committed to another Legends event in China. This led to talking points among the supporters as to how well the event had been organised, and why Mendieta was not included in any of the associated celebrations even if he could not play in the legends event itself. Fans have also been critical of the ticket allocation that Valencia has received for the Copa Del Rey Final and the distribution process by the club. It seems highly unlikely that anyone without a season ticket will receive the opportunity to buy direct from the club as the demand and season ticket holders outweighs the 21,400 allocation for the match in Sevilla on May 25th.

The fans anger at the process led to a silent demonstration by the ‘Curva Nord’ during the Real Madrid contest. Off the back of an impressive win away to arch rivals Sevilla, one would have expected a vociferous Mestalla for one of the highlights of the season. The section of the Mestalla that always produces the majority of the noise behind the North goal had stubbornly decided not to chant in the first half of the game. This defiant approach, by a normally loud & loyal group of fans, led to a subdued atmosphere in the stadium for the majority of the first half. The players did well to concentrate and the confidence in the team was noticeable for all to see as Valencia took control of the game. Wave after wave of attacks by the hosts were finally rewarded in the 35th minute. Guedes lashed a right foot shot from just inside the penalty area, which evaded the outstretched hand of Kaylor Navas and nestled into the right hand corner of his net.

The opening goal, in front of the Curva Nord, ensured their ‘omertà’ was broken as they forget themselves and joined in the raucous celebrations along with the rest of the stadium. The home side continued to press and look to get the second goal before the interval. Kondogbia volleyed just over the crossbar and Rodrigo very nearly doubled the lead with an exquisite curling shot that floated just wide. The second half started with the ‘Curva Nord’ looking to make up for lost time and the decibel levels rose extensively in the stadium. However, so did Madrid, as they upped their play and began to share possession with the home side.

Despite parity in midfield, it was Valencia who created the more telling opportunities and the reward for their endeavour came late on in the game when they got their second goal. Ezequiel Garay, who had played 25 times for Real Madrid, soared above everyone to head home direct from a sublime Dani Parejo corner. This gave Valencia a two-goal cushion against his former club. Benzema got a late, late consolation for the visitors but it was Valencia’s night and they fully deserved their victory. Madrid look a shadow of the team that won the Champions League the last three seasons. Without Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane will have his work cut out to achieve the same type of success, in his second spell

in charge of the club, as he did in the first. The Europa League draw for the quarter and semi-finals took place recently as well and Valencia were in the pot with seven other teams after the amazing contest with Krasnador of Russia that saw Valencia go through with literally the last kick of the game. An excellent piece of refereeing by the Englishman Anthony Taylor, giving advantage to Valencia, allowed Kevin Gameiro to get to the by-line and pull the ball back to Guedes. The young Portuguese star showed maturity beyond his years by not shooting immediately with his preferred right foot but allowing the ball to run through onto his left foot. This created sufficient space for him to evade the

The “never say die” attitude of the team kept them in the competition and they have been rewarded with a two- legged tie against local neighbours, Villarreal. Victory over ‘The Yellow Submarine’ would line up an encounter with either Arsenal or Napoli in the semi-final. EASTER AND SAN VICENTE

With the city all partied out and out of puff after Fallas, Valencia has never been big on Holy Week. Easter is a quiet affair around these parts. Some opt for a tentative pre-Summer trip to the beach in the patchy April weather. Others decide to get away to the mountains for fresh air and herbal teas (or perhaps more likely, lamb chops and jugs of beer). If you do stick around, however, you’ll find there’s still plenty going on even if the pace slows a little. Best of all, you’ll easily get a table in that restaurant you had to queue outside the door for during Fallas. The only place in the city where you’ll find any major Holy Week celebrations is in the Poblados Maritimos down by the beach and the port. Far from the solemn, dignified processions you tend to find in Castille and Andalusia, the Valencian take on it all is a bit more relaxed. Here it’s just another excuse for Valencians to show off and dress up as if they were taking part in one of those 1950s “Sword & Sandals” epics, starring some bequiffed

Hollywood beefcake. So… you get local people interpreting all manner of biblical characters, Roman soldiers, emperors, slaves, courtesans, virgins and saints, all dressed to the nines in their Quo Vadis chic. Pop into a Cabanyal bar during Holy weekend and you might encounter Jesus Christ sharing a quick caña and some olives with Herod, Delilah and Victor Mature. At this time of year all over the city the bakeries fill up with the traditional Monas de Pascua, a sweet cake also typical in Aragon and Catalonia, which is made in the shape of an animal and decorated with coloured hard-boiled eggs. Up until the 60s and 70s, before everyone had a flat at the beach or could rent a casa rural, the whole of Valencia would flock down to the river or to Malvarrosa to eat the Mona along with Longaniza de Pascua (a sort of less spicy pepperami forerunner), eggs and chocolate. “A la Vora del riu” (down by the river) games would be played, ropes would be skipped, kites would be flown and girls would be kissed. The girl in the old Valencian

Easter joke says to her mother: “I lost my espadrilles down by the river”, her mother replying: “As long as it was only your espadrilles!” These days, the boiled eggs are often replaced by chocolate Kinder eggs and the Mona is usually taken off to the villa or apartment to be eaten but the tradition lives on. It’s still a time for kite flying and the odd girl still gets kissed, although most of them lost their espadrilles a long time ago. The weekend following Easter is known as the Pascua de San Vicente. Then first Monday after Easter Monday is San Vicente Ferrer day, which means we all get a second consecutive long weekend. San Vicente Ferrer along with his luckless namesake, San Vicente the martyr. The latter was tortured and executed by the Romans and thrown on a rubbish dump. The two Vicentes are the most iconic of Valencian Saints. One is the patron of the region, the other of the city. Born in Calle del Mar in Valencia in 1350,

Vicente Ferrer was never martyred, tortured or even called nasty names and he probably never even went near a rubbish dump. Vicente was the son of a rich lawyer, the godson of a Royal Prince. A prize networker, he was close friends with the Borgia family and intellectuals like Erasmus and Machiavelli. He was an extremely able politician, a dealer in influence and a proclaimer of Popes and had a great knack for always supporting the winning side, jumping ship whenever it suited him. With incredible foresight he baptised Rodrigo de Borgia, who was to become the first Borgia Pope. He dropped one of the heaviest hints in history declaring: “This boy will one day be Pope and he will make me a Saint”. Vicente was indeed fast-tracked to sainthood, just thirty years after his death, when Rodrigo ascended to the Papacy. Throughout the week, you’ll start to see what look like ornate Punch and Judy puppet theatres popping up on corners all over the city centre. These are San Vicente’s altars, which provide the scenery for short plays acted out in

Valenciano by local children. The plays depict the many miracles performed by the saint, because by far the coolest thing about San Vicente Ferrer is that he was the most prolific miracle worker of all time. Vicente is credited with 873 miracles, more than any other Saint. He is usually depicted with his index finger aloft because, in the same way that Samantha from “Bewitched” could do magic by wriggling her nose, Vicente could zap miracles out just by lifting his finger… like some sort of ecclesiastical superhero. There are 18 altars in total around the city; the oldest is in Calle del Mar where they have been putting on the plays since 1561. Other altars can be found in Bolseria, the Central Market, Plaza del Carmen, El Pilar and Ruzafa. One of the miracles you may see dramatised is el “Salser” or “the cruet set miracle” where San Vicente cured a neighbour’s fever with just oil and vinegar (there is a commemorative plaque on the door of the house where this is proported to have happened at 37, Calle del Mar).

Another famous miracle was the “Mocadoret”, “the little handkerchief miracle”, where San Vicente proclaimed to his followers that there were people nearby who needed their help. “Where are these people?” his followers asked, the Saint told them to follow his hanky and he threw it up in the air and into an attic window where sure enough they found a poor and needy family…not all that unusual in Medieval Europe, to be fair. The square where this is said to have taken place is just off the Plaza de la Reina and is named after the miracle (Plaza Miracle del Mocaret). Seats are put out around the altars, which are usually filled by the parents of the kids taking part. In the old days, money was thrown for the children by the appreciative crowd. The kids had to hand over the cash to the local priest, although there’s more than one story of junior San Vicentes performing a little miracle of their own by stuffing the coins into their shoes and hoping nobody had seen. JUNGLE BY NIGHT 1. Can you tell us about how you started out and what your musical influences are?

We started in 2009 as a group of friends and family that had some connections with each other through some high schools in Amsterdam. When we started there was this huge wave of vinyl reissues and music blogs coming out. The internet made it possible to discover new music on the one hand. On the other hand we were growing up in a city with a great music scene, which is also very important for most of us. Another influence has been the record shops where you could discover music and venues like ‘Paradiso’ and ‘Melkweg.’ Also, just the small cafés where you could discover new music. It is easy to meet and connect with people who are into music. A well-

known secret in Amsterdam is the weekly radio shows by ‘Hot Mama Hot’ collective on local radio; they have an amazing collection of obscure vinyl from all ages and places on this planet.

Hangmat You are in Formentera, the sun is shining! What do you do? You go in the hammock. “Hangmat” is the Dutch word for Hammock. This lazy summer track really suits the hangmat situation. PoMpette This song balance in life. It is important to stay balanced in life. To not overdo things, but also not undermine certain aspects in life. “Pompette” is a French word that describes this thin line. Ja Precis We made this song, and we thought: “ Yes, exactly!” And our trumpet player is half Swedish and shouted out: “Ja precis!” Which means “Yes, exactly!” So, then we decided to name this song ‘Ja Precis.’ Love Boat Saw saw saw, pina colada, saw saw saw. Stormvogel This track was formed around a strange guitar pattern that we jammed on. When we play this live, the name of the

song really fits the crowd’s response! Hurn in Bell There are many choices in life. This song is very moody. But what would you do: Burn in Hell? OR: Hurn in Bell? Spectacles, Part 1 A story by itself that we cannot fill in for you but you have to do it by yourself. We like to use chords more and more! Spectacles, Part 2 We recorded this one as a wild jam with very little structure and a lot of music making in the moment itself.

Café Crème A coffee with milk. We have a very strong visual concept for this song, for live performance. We are perhaps curious if other people also have a strong idea about it? 5. What are your plans for the future? To keep on playing music forever, whenever, wherever! We are now recording new jams and tracks, so maybe there will be something new out very soon. And we have also existed for ten years as a band this year, so that is something we will celebrate at the end of 2019.
