General Information Banking Needs There are no ATMs on campus. The nearest ATM is a stand-alone Easthampton Savings Bank ATM near the 7-Eleven on the corner of Union and Railroad Streets in downtown Easthampton, just a short walk from campus. Additionally, there are three full-service banks, with ATMs, in Easthampton: Bank of America, Easthampton Savings Bank, and Florence Savings Bank. Communications Alumni and guests wishing to log in to the Internet to check email may do so at the Clapp Memorial Library from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 8, and Saturday, June 9. Dress for the Weekend Reunion Weekend dress is casual, although alumni are encouraged to be sartorially creative for their class photos, which will be taken on Saturday evening during Cocktails on the Quad. Easthampton’s Open Container Policy The Town of Easthampton recently passed a new open container law. Individuals are not permitted to carry or consume alcohol from an open container on public side4

walks or roadways. Please keep this in mind during Reunion Weekend, and please drink responsibly. Alumni staying in dormitories should park in their assigned dormitory parking areas. Additional parking is available behind the Phillips Stevens Chapel, behind Scott Hall and the Williston Theatre, at the Athletic Center, and at Lossone Rink. For safety reasons, we ask that you please refrain from parking in the half-circle of the main campus during Reunion Weekend. He will discuss the ease and facility of writing, casting, collaborating, rehearsing, and staging in pre-modern Africa versus the post-modern West. 1:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m. * From the Mythology of The Godfather to the Realities of the Mafia Anthony Fragola ’62, Professor of Media Studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, will present an overview, with clips, of his documentaries on the antimafia movement in Sicily and will speak about his major work in progress, Another Corleone: Another Sicily, which focuses on lands confiscated from the mafia and turned into farm cooperatives. Professor Fragola regards the mafia as a terrorist organization, and his goal is to counter stereotypes about Sicilians, demystify the mafia, and educate the public about its realities.
