ABOUT COLLEGE COUNSELING Fall is a busy time in the College Counseling Office. Seniors are meeting regularly with college counselors, refining college lists, putting the finishing touch on their personal essays, and completing college applications. We look forward to seeing you during Family Weekend. If you are the parent of a boarding senior, please make an appointment with your child’s college counselor during your visit. Parents of day students may make an appointment at another mutually convenient time. Appointments for families of boarding students are available at Plimpton Hall. Friday, 8:00-11:00 a.m. Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Parents are required to sign up online for meetings. Information will be emailed three weeks prior to Family Weekend.
ALL MY SONS During World War II, Joe Keller and Herbert Deever ran a machine shop that made airplane parts for military planes. Deever went to jail for sending defective parts out of the shop, causing the deaths of hundreds of American soldiers. Keller was exonerated and built a life for himself and his family. These parallel stories pick up early one August morning when a storm takes out the tree dedicated to Keller’s oldest son who was reported missing in action during the war. This symbolic event, along with Keller’s youngest son’s proposal to Ann Deever and the return of a bitter George Deever, sets the wheels in motion for the action of the play that ultimately unearths devastating truths long-buried by Keller and his wife. Please join us for a talkback with our cast and crew after the performance on Friday, October 24. By Arthur Miller | Directed by Emily B. Ditkovski Produced by Special Arrangement with Dramatist Play Service TICKETS: $7 students/seniors. $10 adults. Always complimentary for current Williston students and faculty.
