Winners of the 2012 “Favorite New Artist of the Year” at the Carolina Beach Music Award, Steve Owens and Summertime brings a level of beach music matched by none. From Myrtle Beach all the way to Lake Gaston they keep the floors and stages busy at many venues. From hits such as “I Just Want to Satisfy, I Dig Everything About You, Overnight, I’d Give Up Everything For You, and Second Time Around,” they will have some tunes you enjoy over and over again each time you listen.
All members of the Take Cover band are seasoned musicians that have been playing in local bands for many years and now bring their respective talents, musicianship and experience together. They play the new rockin’country and Top 40s. Mark Jones was new to Wilson when he wanted to start a new country band that rocked! He set out on a quest at local music stores, jam session and sought likeminded musicians. The band officially formed in 2013 and you can tell they are all having a blast together as they perform amazing music.
