A. It is easier now to upload your songs and reach a larger audience without actually knowing them or doing any public appearances however lockdown has really affected the music industry so it will be very hard to get signed at the moment so it’s all about promotions and word-of-mouth. Q.If you could change anything about the industry, what would

8

A. Currently the industry charges you by the amount of followers you have on social media for someone like me who has never really use social media this is all new to me so my Instagram page is only a few months old although I have a lot of followers currently it still isn’t as much as the leading artist have and it will take a long time before I reach those kind of numbers without my music been released So most people in the music industry don’t really want to get involved of you until you have a larger amount of followers but realistically your followers doesn’t decide whether your music is good or not it just decide with your popular enough Q.What’s next for you? Crazy Love ft Blackjack UK A.I’m currently working on a dance track with MC Sel Who is best known for the old school garage song sweetheart and I’m also doing a song with Mc DT who is a very popular MC he started off when jungle music first came out so it’s an honour to work with both these legends in fact I’m currently making two songs with each of them which will be out in the summer Q. Do you have any other plans relating to this release? A video? Online Shows? A. Yes I am did a live interview with BAYRAK international radio which showcased the exclusive to my song on the 1st of June and my song has being getting great airplay in England and lots of support from Kral Radio, Bizim fm I hope when lockdown eases off in Cyprus that I could go and perform at some live festivals I’ve also got some newspaper interviews and articles coming out about me online with various companies which I will post on my Instagram page nearer the time in regards to music videos I’m going to wait a while until things really calm down and it’s easier to travel without having the Covid jab and you’ll be the first know when I’m about to film my first music video currently concentrating on promoting my first release and recording the rest of my album because lockdown has really slowed things down and being able to go to the studio and record has been somewhat impossible for at the last year however against all the odds I’ve done more than half of an album If new/current listeners wanted to listen to your music, where could they go to listen? https://www.instagram.com/ https://m.facebook.com/nadine.

The Human mind has fascinated and intrigued me from a very young age and when I first was introduced to psychology it all made sense and I knew right away that I would dedicate my life to it. My curiosity has never faded since then, I was obsessed, I studied every book and program I could lay my hands on: modern psychology perspectives and classical psychoanalysis; play / drama / metaphor / therapy; hypnotherapy and meditations; yoga and breath-work; various metaphysical studies; buddhism, shamanism - you name it. I was that kind of student who would go the extra mile, leave the classroom the last and attend the same seminars multiple times to get the most out of it. This drive led me to the awakening of my psychic perceptions and to experience phenomena like precognition, receiving information through dreams, lucid dreaming, out of body experiences, third eye activations, channeling and others that are hard to put into words. I am not someone special or better to say we are all special, and all of us are psychic and spiritual in nature. My mission is to a assist people on their healing journey, as well as popularize the blending of psychology and spirituality among the mental health practitioners worldwide. Psychology alone doesn’t work anymore, what we need in these modern days is broader, deeper, more balanced and effective approach to healing and self-knowledge. I offer 1:1 sessions that will expedite your healing by 4-5 times in regard to regular therapy. Life does not have to be about coping with problems. Your new reality should be about finding your happiness and keeping it. I can show you how to get there. Let's take you back to magic! www.natalyapazdnikova.com

ABBI E K EISH A

Hey people! My name is Abbie, I go by the name of Abbie Keisha.x on my socials. I am a freelance model and have been immersing myself in the industry for the last 3 years. But that’s not all there is to know about me! If you would like to know more about my journey in life so far then you may as well read further. Since I started modelling, I have taken part in many types of photoshoots. I have done commercial, ecommerce, urban, lifestyle shoots as well as a few music videos. I enjoy every shoot I take part in. Iget to meet new people, build on my portfolio and I love the creativity behind each shoot and how much effort people put in to develop their brands or product ideas. As someone that comes from acreative background, I admire anyone that has something creative to share and use to inspire oneanother showing how we have developed from each background we come from. I believe when working with in a creative industry you have to really be open in networking with people and embracing your environment! If I was to advise someone that wants to start doing modelling, even though I am still growing myselfI think these are good points that helped me with my journey so far. What I did first was join a website called purple port. On this site I was able to work with other photographers that would exchange your time for photos, which in turn helped me build my portfolio and create posts for Instagram. I find Instagram has helped me in gaining followers and work with brands, I continue to use it to gain work today. One thing I would say Is I believe it is important to find what your style that you will be offering at photoshoots for example people tend to work with me because of my hair where as they may want someone else that has tattoos, has a quirky look or anything else. Today models come in all shapes, sizes and style. So, I would say embrace who you are and people will love you as you love yourself. I used to do free shoots for small independent brands orcollaborate with other creatives I had made friends with. When I eventually felt confident in my portfolio and how I demonstrate myself at shoots, I began to charge for my time. I won't talk too much on money but I will say it varies depending on the type of brand you work with. I'm not quite where I would like to be with modelling yet but I am happy to have had the opportunity to work with a number of brands. Besides modelling my other interests are travelling, cooking, photography painting and drawing. When travelling I love to take in landmarks and take photos of everything I see! I'm also someone that likes to collect souvenirs from everywhere Ive been. If Theres anything people know about me is that I like to goof around dancing in the kitchen while I cook up a storm for the family, I'm always trying out new recipes and cooking up my favourite dishes off course. I have drawn and painted from a very young age. It has always been something I concentrated on most throughout my education. I studied textiles at university which gave me skills to learn how to turn my artwork into fashion pieces. Outside of modelling I am currently working as a Merchandise Admin Assistant for menswear, I really enjoy this role as it gives me loads of responsibility and I get to see all the behindscenes of what happens when a garment is developed before reaching shop floor and advertising. Overall, I would say I am someone that is well versed around the fashion environment and continueto push myself to achieve more. My message to anyone reading this would be to keep pushing yourself to do what you truly believe is right for you! Manifestation is key to the growth and success you set out for yourself. Never give up on your dreams, you are the driver of your life, only you can set your pathway and most importantly make sure you have fun and enjoy it to the most!

MICHELLE ALE X ANDER a gun back fire and thinking it is a gun.

My name is Michelle Alexander I am the Founder and Managing director of AKA Life Coaching: Transformational life Coaching, Family support and Trauma informed Early intervention service for women, families, and underrepresented groups. I have 24 years of experience working with children and families. I think you will agree that most off us started the year 2021 with high hopes but for some of us this year hasn’t quite been the beginning of the year we dreamt of. With the Sarah Everard tragic murder, Numerous accounts of unprovoked knife crime, Richard Okorogheye’s body being found and George Floyds trial stirring up several buried emotions. This has led to me posing the question when is the right time to let go and heal from some of these emotions and try to Move on. Over the past few months, it would have been hard not to be triggered by the constant headlines that enter our conscious and subconscious minds through traditional media and Social media. Even though I have a strict boundary in relation to “My Negative news intake” I was shocked by just how much news was entering my social media feeds on a daily basis. But has this led to an nation that have unwittingly fallen victim to hypervigilance, vicarious trauma and or even PTSD and as a result are you experiencing burnout and Compassion Fatigue. So what is Hypervigilance, Vicarious trauma and PTSD. Hypervigilance is extreme or excessive vigilance, or abnormal alert to potential danger and threat. This can be caused by PTSD, Anxiety or even paranoia when it is associated with other mental illness. Hypervigilance can cause you to be really sensitive to your surroundings even when dangers are not real ie hearing

Vicarious Trauma is a cumulation and transmission effect on professional who work with or survivors of a traumatic life event/s. Although this normally affects mostly professional’s the more violence / violent content is normalised everyday people are starting to also experience the side effects. So why is it important to know when we may be experiencing Hypervigilance? Being in a hypervigilant state or what is also known as “high alert” for long periods of time can cause toxic stress and is exhausting to our bodies and our internal system’s. Cortisol is a way our body help’s us to manage it but it causes us to be easily jumpy, agitated, on edge, or make it difficult to sleep at night. But one of the most compounding issues with PTSD or hypervigilance is we may find ourselves drawing for unhealthy coping strategies i.e drinking more, smoking, binge eating, zoning out in meeting’s, conversation, tv or we my do anything to numb ourselves so we don’t have to feel on edge.

• Focus on what you can control and Try to be Logical and: If you hear a loud bang – investigate what the possible reasons they could be ie key, phone dropping . • Planned Responses: Breath and response – Tell yourself it ok to feel this way but not let it take over your body. It will take practice, but it does help taking control and breathing – this will help you keep calm and sooth’s your system. Know that with different techniques you can help your body to choose not to be affected by it . • Download an app ie Podcast, Mindfulness app, Audio books, Affirmations and or positive quotes

• Crisis plan/ safety plan / self-care plan- write it down and key numbers so that it is in a place when you need it . • If symptoms continue See a professional it ok to ask for help – You may need to see a professional to get a diagnosis / this will ensure you get the right type of care. CBT- Psychosis ,PTSD, ANXIETY Disordersin order to better manage- what’s caused and what the best treatment could be.EMDR (Eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing So what can we do if we feel helps you to process negative imagines)- PSTD like we are experiencing and or EPOSURE THERAPY May work for people with Suffering from Hypervigilance? My name is Esther Arieiv, I’m a brazilian musical theatre artist and I’m 24 years old. I started dancing ballet when I was 7 years old and as the years went by I realized it wasn’t going to be just a hobby for me. I’ve been to many dance competitions and courses, including a summer program at Perm Ballet School in Russia, a winter program with the Ajkun Ballet Theatre in New York and a world dance competition in Croatia. In 2014, at the age of 17, I moved to New York by myself to start studying as a ballet trainee at the Joffrey Ballet School. I was loving it, but while living in New York I got to know the musical theatre world better, and I just kept getting more and more interested about it. A couple years later I realized I actually didn’t want to be a classical ballerina anymore. I wanted to pursue a career in musical theatre. The thing was, at the time, I didn’t really know anything about acting, or singing and on top of that, I was extremely scared to sing in front of people. I was a ballet dancer. So if I wanted to be a musical theatre artist, I had to do something about it. That was when I started taking voice lessons and I immediately fell in love with it. My voice teacher had just opened a musical theatre school and he started to convince me that I had to study there. At first, I wasn’t sure about it, because I was in the third year (of four) of my Joffrey training, so I thought of finishing it first. But, as time went by I started to get more and more involved in musical theatre. My voice teacher’s school had a program on Saturdays that included a dance class, a voice lesson and a song interpretation class and I started taking those. After a while I realized I was enjoying my Saturdays more than the rest of my week. I wanted every day to be like Saturday. I was so sure of it. So after I finished my third year at Joffrey, I decided to drop out to attend my voice teacher’s school: The Institute for American Musical Theatre. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I learned so much, had so many incredible opportunities and unbelievable experiences. I fell in love with musical theatre more and more every day. After I graduated I came back to Brazil and just a few months later booked my first professional job: Heathers - The Musical. It was amazing and I had the time of my life! I had the chance to apply everything that I had learned previously and leave it all on the stage in every performance. Actually getting to exercise the profession made me even more sure that I had made the right decision. Shortly after that, I booked another show, but unfortunately, that was when the pandemic hit. Right now, most theatres are still closed, but I want to be ready to go when the theatre open its doors again, so I’ve been doing what I can at home, exercising, dancing and working with the space that I have and the circumstances that I’m in. It isn’t easy and there isn’t a single day that I don’t miss being on the stage. But, I have to keep going. I’m constantly thanking God for the opportunity to have a career that I love so much, so I’ll keep doing what I do best, hoping that this will soon be over and we will be in the theatre once again. I can’t wait for it. The really long rehearsals, the rush of the opening night, the butterflies in the stomach while waiting in the wings, the energy exchange between the cast, and between the artists and the audience, the spotlights, the bows, the applause, the joy. I can’t wait for it. Instagram: @estherarieiv

Hello! . . . Here we have the Sicilian staple Arancini (rice ball) It's said to have originated in Sicily in the 10th century, I've been making them for years at home but for the last year or so I've been supplying them to you in Wolverhampton. . . And your loving them! . . . Ingredients: For the rice ball's 500g Italian arborio rice 1600ml cold water 2 x chicken stock cubes 1 tsp saffron Pinch of salt 100g parmesan Method: For the rice it needs to rest so do it the day before. . . In a big pan put the water on a high heat, Sprinkle the chicken stock cubes, salt and saffron in then give a good stir, add the talian arborio rice wait till it comes up to the boil. Turn the heat down to a simmer stirring every 5 minutes to eliminate as much sticking as possible and also adding 3/4 of the parmesan in little by little everytime you stir saving some for the end.

When all the water has gone and the rice is tender take it off the heat and spread it out on a baking sheet, sprinkle the rest of the parmesan over it and cover with cling film and when cooled pop it in the fridge till the next day . . .

For the filling: Ingredients. . . 1 cup of sauce (your own or store bought) 1/2 Mozzarella ball 1 tub golden bread crumbs (Or 4/5 slices if bread to make your own) 34

2 eggs whisked Oil for frying You can make your own pasta sauce or buy a jar of ready made sauce (I use my own sauce). . . Chop the mozzarella ball into very small chunks and crack and whisk the 2 eggs in a bowl. Put the bread crumbs in another bowl . . . (If using bread slices to make your own breadcrumbs whiz them up in a blender with seasoning) Roll your rice into the size of a small tennis ball pop your thumb in to make a well put a few chunks of Mozzarella in then 1 tsp of sauce and again a few small chunks of Mozzarella push together the well to close it if needed pop more rice in to 'plug' up the hole do this till you've used all the rice Pop your oil on and get it to 350°c (use a temperature thermometer) While the oil is getting hot roll each rice ball in the egg mixture and then cover with the bread crumbs and pop them carefully in the hot oil using a slotted spoon. Cook them till golden about 5/6 mins turning them a few times, take out and drain on kitchen roll serve warm with some sauce on the side to dip them in and a Caprese salad. . . Enjoy! Lorraine x
