SPORTS Flag Football Flag Football The Windsor Flag Football league’s focus is to teach the fundamentals of football in a team setting. Each age group will be split into two different divisions: Draft or Open (if overall registration numbers allow). In both divisions, participants will learn football fundamentals, with the exception of tackling or blocking (non-contact league), with an emphasis of equal participation and winning being secondary. Teams play 5 vs. 5 and are scheduled for six games with an end-of-season playoff if scheduling constraints permit. Draft Division Players attend an assessment date. Players will be assessed on basic football skills and athleticism, and are placed on teams according to skill level and grade, with team parity as the main goal.
