WINDSOR MATTERS OCTOBER 2021

REPORT IT! Windsor Launches New SeeClickFix Reporting Platform We take issue with your issues! As of Sept. 17, there were 65 issues submitted this year using the previous online reporting tool. The Town of Windsor just launched a new reporting software that is even more user-friendly! Windsor's new public-facing reporting tool is called SeeClickFix. It's a request and work management software that provides residents and business owners a way to submit non-emergency service requests, comments or concerns to town staff and officials. Prior to the launch of SeeClickFix, the town used a reporting system called YourGov. With SeeClickFix, the public has access to a more streamlined

reporting process with the ability to submit issues through one easyto-use web form and a convenient mobile app. They can report issues on the Town of Windsor website at windsorgov.com/SeeClickFix or they can choose to use the mobile SeeClickFix app, which is available for both Android and Apple devices. Using the new mobile app is simple. When a resident or business owner notices damage in a public area, they can take a photo with their phone and report it through the app. The issue might be something like a dangerous sidewalk, pothole, broken playground equipment or blocked storm drains. Residents and business owners can also contact town board and ask questions.

describe the issue, load the photo, and submit it. It's that easy. Residents and business owners can register to receive updates and additional app functions by creating a user account. Once a report is submitted, staff members try to respond as quickly, usually within two business days. The mobile app also allows residents and business owners easy access to town information and functions including paying a Windsor utility bill, checking out the latest Activity Guide, or viewing and applying for Town of Windsor employment opportunities. For details about the new tool, visit windsorgov.com/SeeClickFix.

To make the report, open the SeeClickFix app, provide a location,
