Windsor Hosts Spring Clean Up Event May 13 & 14 Windsor Utility customers are invited to participate in the 2022 Spring Clean-Up event May 13 & 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Public Services facility, 922 N. 15th St., weather permitting. The event is limited to Windsor Utility customers and is free of charge. At the event, residents will turn in their original voucher and then they’ll be guided to drive up and dropoff their materials at corresponding stations. Residents will be responsible for unloading their own items at each station. If the voucher is misplaced, residents can bring valid identification such as a driver’s license to Town Hall during regular business hours for a replacement.

ACCEPTED ITEMS INCLUDE • General household trash • Organic materials such as yard and garden waste, branches, tree limbs up to four inches in diameter and grass clippings • Scrap metal • Small furniture (no mattresses or large couches) • Indoor appliances such as stoves, ovens, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves

Grills Bicycles Vehicle tires without rims Laptops, computers, keyboards, cell phones, tablets, servers • Flat screen TVs and monitors. • Small Printers and Copiers

ITEMS NOT ACCEPTED • General household mixed recycling (paper, glass, cardboard etc.) • Hazardous waste • Propane tanks and gas cylinders • Refrigerators or other appliances containing freon • Construction debris (dirt, cement, pavers)

May 13 & 14, 2021, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Windsor Public Services Facility, 922 N. 15th St.

This original voucher must be redeemed at the event. Good for one load per household. Must be a Windsor Water Utility customer to participate. In case of inclement weather, updates about the event will be posted to windsorgov.com and to the town’s Facebook page at facebook.com/windsorgov. Copies of the original voucher will not be accepted. Residents who receive the digital version of the utility bill can stop by Town Hall during regular business hours to receive an original voucher.
