Fort Lupton Trading Post The Fort Lupton Trading Post, built by volunteers, is a replica of the Colorado fur trading post called Fort Lancaster originally built in 1836 by Lt. Lancaster Lupton and his crew. Rebuilding the fort was the motivation for the formation of the South Platte Valley Historical Society in 1988. Its members raised funds to purchase the original fort site, but were seven years too late to save the final wall from demolition by workers erecting gas and oil drilling rigs on the site. Eight years, 25,000 volunteer hours and $220,000 later, the fort was finished in mid-2012. Walking Level: Intermediate Register by: Sep 6 Ages: 55+  Min 8/Max 14  #311420.02

The Canine Life and Social Skills (C.L.A.S.S.™) Program Does your dog have C.L.A.S.S.™? Most of us want to include our dogs fully in our lives, which is much easier when we give them boundaries and skills with real-life relevance. C.L.A.S.S.™ will show you how to teach these skills using effective, rewardbased methods.

What your dog will learn: attention, target, place (go to your mat), impulse control, come when called, sit down, stay, wait at the door, meet and greet, wait for food bowl, and more. What’s the best part? Your dog can actually accompany you to places that are dog friendly without the worry of “what’s he/she going to do?”

Learn the initial skills you and your dog need to become a Therapy Dog Team, Canine Good Citizen Team, Agility Team, Tracking Team, Rally Obedience Team, Camping Partners, Travel Companions, or just enjoy the time you spend together. Register by: 1 week before Ages: 12+  Min 5/ Max 30  #314933
