Kid’s Nite Out Across America (KNO) is an independent youth activity program held weekly at the Windsor Community Recreation Center. KNO provides a fun, safe, active environment for every participant. A variety of games and activities are offered, such as swimming, dancing to a DJ, sports tournaments, arts and crafts, and more! Nationally backgroundchecked, attentive, and energetic staff monitor all areas. KNO maintains a 1:25 staff-participant ratio, and a local police officer is on duty at each event to ensure the safety of all participants. Parents must bring their child into the facility upon arrival, and participants cannot leave until a parent or authorized guardian comes into the building for pick up. HOW TO REGISTER
Registering yourself or a child for a Windsor Parks, Recreation & Culture activity or program is easy! Follow these steps below to get registered. Make sure you act fast— some popular programs fill up quickly!
1 REGISTER ONLINE
First, visit recreationliveshere.com/RecReg to create an account. If you already have an account, skip to Step 4.
2 CREATE AN ACCOUNT
On the registration page, click on the Sign In/Register tab and select Create a New Account near the bottom of the page.
3 SET UP YOUR FAMILY
Follow the prompts and enter the required information. During the process, you’ll be prompted to list family members who will be participating in activities. Listing each member will allow you to register them for a class and pay any required fees.
4 START SEARCHING!
Once logged in, you can start your search for activities using the tabs at the top of the page or by clicking the image that matches the activity you are looking for.
You can also narrow down programs, classes, and activities based on your criteria by using the filters on the left: type of activity, by age or by activity number. An activity number is the digits located next to the activity name on the Activity Guide.
5 COMPLETE REGISTRATION
Once you’ve made you selection, click Add to Cart, then follow the prompts. Once you’ve added all the activities you want to participate in, select Proceed to Checkout and follow the instructions to register.
That’s it! You’re now registered... let the fun begin!

The Windsor Parks, Recreation & Culture welcomes you to our 85,000-square-foot Windsor Community Recreation Center (CRC). The Windsor CRC features two gymnasiums, fitness rooms, an elevated walking track, and indoor aquatic facility, in addition to a variety of other rooms and amenities.
INDOOR AQUATIC CENTER
Our indoor aquatic facility serves as the Windsor CRC’s centerpiece, featuring three lap lanes, a zero-depth entry pool with play feature, a lazy river, water slide, and a 23-person hot tub! The full Aquatics section begins on page #20.

An auxiliary gym with an elevated walking and jogging track connects our 3,500-square-foot fitness space. Take advantage of our cutting-edge fitness rooms on the first and second floors, featuring Cybex cardiovascular and weight equipment. The full Fitness section begins on page #26.

Need a place for your child aged 1 to 9 years old to go during your Community Recreation Center visit? Drop in to use our childcare services Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-1:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday, 4:30-7:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 8:00 a.m.-Noon. Maximum time allowance of 90 minutes per visit.

This event involved placement of wreaths on the graves of veterans in our local Lakeview Cemetery as well as cemeteries across the country, including Arlington National Cemetery.

Eight courts with nets are located at Main Park, 300 Locust St. and an additional 8 courts are located at Windsor Highlands Park located at 7985 Highland Meadows Pkwy. Courts are open and free to the public. Note: Courts are subject to closure during winter conditions. Courts can be rented if you prefer a specific court at a specific time instead of dropping in to play. Rent a court for $10 per hour. Call 970-674-3500.
WINDSOR PICKLEBALL CLUB
The Windsor Pickleball Club (WPC) is a volunteer operated, not-for-profit group that reserves outdoor court time at Main Park from May to September. PICKLEBALL LESSONS
The Windsor Pickleball Club offers lessons for those interested in learning pickleball, the fastest-growing sport in the nation. Our volunteer instructors will teach you all the basics. WINDSOR WALKERS
Are you interested in walking with other active folks? Walking is great exercise but even more fun when done with walking buddies. Volunteer, Cosima Dean, has organized a walking club that meets Tuesdays & Fridays at beautiful Windsor Trails. CAMPS
CAMP WINDSOR
Enjoy a variety of activities, such as gym and outdoor play, swimming and arts and crafts! An itinerary will be given 48 hours in advance. Please bring swimming attire, backpack with a lunch, two snacks and water bottle. Note any allergies when registering. Drop-off will be between 7:30 – 9:00 a.m. and pick-up will be between 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. curbside on the east side of the building.

Keep the kiddos engaged with art camp on their days off! Led by a professional art instructor, kids will focus on a different theme each day and create art in a variety of mediums. Your child will have fun and be creative as they make new friends and explore art!

NORTHERN COLORADO DANCE CHEER SPIRIT COLORADO
Dancers age 2+ focus on the joy of learning movement! Coordination, Dynamics, Body in Space -all provide the foundation for classical ballet training beginning at age 7. Adults enjoy beginner-intermediate Ballet as well as Multi-generation Tap class for dancers ages 8-99! Taught in a structured setting with a studio atmosphere for progressive continued study through the semester and years. Fall semester includes our Performing Group! Semester sign up is required to participate. Our version of Aladdin will take the stage at various venues! Nonperformance classes are available. PERFORMANCE CHEER
We are excited to offer continued sessions of cheer with Cheer Spirit Colorado! Our program provides sessions filled with great skill building opportunities and fun performances. Cheer, dance, stunts, and jumps will be taught in a positive and motivating environment where kids are proven to excel. Each athlete will have the opportunity to order a uniform at the start of the session. This cost will be in addition to the class. We will secure at least one performance towards the end of each session.
TUMBLING
Our tumbling classes provide the opportunity for athletes to learn new skills, build strength and have fun in a safe environment. We focus on floor tumbling skills with progressions, beginning with forward rolls, cartwheels, back/front walkover, up to back handsprings and tucks. Classes are divided by skill after the first class and athletes are given drills and instruction to grow at their own pace. Athletes are required to wear comfortable athletic gear including tie sneakers and have hair in a high ponytail for safety. Also, please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
STUNT CLINIC
We have a NEW offering this season – 3 week stunt clinic! Come learn the skill, technique and safety of basic level stunting. Athletes will have the opportunity to try various stunting positions and learn how to safely progress to higher level skills!
THE DANCE DEPARTMENT
The Dance Department offers dance classes to dancers ranging from 18 months to 18 years of age, in every style. The Co Directors of The Dance Department, Nicole Kutella and Miranda Lung, are ready to welcome you into the TDD dance family. They have more than 35 years of teaching experience and are excited to show families in our community how much fun they can have through dance and movement. Whether your dancer is interested in trying out dance for the first time, or are looking to perfect their technique, we are thrilled to work with your dancer and share our love and passion for dance.

This class also features the TRX Rip Trainer™, focusing on core strength, rotational power, and cardio endurance. Suitable for ages 12 and up.
FIT MOM EXERCISE CLASS (PREGNANCY AND AFTER)
Workouts designed by perinatal exercise trainer (Michelle Tucker) for moms to help them stay strong in pregnancy, rehab after child birth, and gain a fit/strong body for all seasons of motherhood. These exercises are physical therapist approved, specific for prenatal and postpartum seasons, and benefit moms of any age.
STRONGHER: FIT WOMEN EXERCISE CLASS
These workouts are specifically created for women and what their bodies need to stay strong and fit lifelong. Suitable for all ages and seasons. YOUTH FIT, FIERCE, & FUN
In Youth Fit, Fierce, & Fun, kids in 3rd through 5th grade will be introduced to various forms of exercise such as cardio, strength training, mobility, balance, and more in a fun, interactive environment. With age-appropriate drills and activities, the main focus will be to build a solid foundation of fundamentals. This class is designed to introduce your child to the importance of exercise, enjoy movement, and help the already developing athlete become faster and stronger.
TEEN TOTAL BODY FITNESS
Teen Total Body Fitness is geared toward middle schoolaged children. This class will focus on teaching teens the fundamentals of specific exercises, building strength, improving cardiovascular health, and honing athletic skills in a positive and interactive environment. Drills and activities will focus on functional movement and help teens build a solid foundation in exercise.
JUNIOR FITNESS
Under 16? Earn fitness floor access at the Community Recreation Center! Join small group sessions to learn rules, safety, and equipment use. WINTER BASKETBALL CAMP
Bruce Dick is one of the best motivators and shooting instructors in the game. His camps improve the ability of basketball players, regardless of their skill level or age. His teams play an exciting style of basketball and are consistently among the top three-point shooting and freethrow teams in Colorado. This camp is for kids in grades 1 through 8, and both boys and girls are welcome. The camp will take place on December 26 and 27 from 9-11 a.m.
CARA BASKETBALL SKILLS CHALLENGE
The CARA Basketball Skills Challenge is a free competition open to boys and girls ages 6 to 13. Participants can showcase their talents in dribbling, passing, and shooting. Registration is on the day of the event. Top scorers from each age group will advance to a sectional competition, with sectional winners moving on to the state championship.

START SMART BASKETBALL
Start Smart Basketball teaches children the basic motor skills necessary to play organized basketball while working one-on-one with their parents. The program will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Rec Center for three weeks, starting March 4, for ages 4 and 5. The focus is on skills such as dribbling, ball handling, passing, catching, shooting, and running/agility, without competition or the fear of injury. A parent meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 27. Parent participation is required for all sessions.
SUPERTOTS
Since 2002, SuperTots has engaged kids ages 2 to 5 in physical activity in a noncompetitive environment that is safe and fun. SuperTots understands that kids learn through play, so it has designed a skill-building curriculum where “tots” learn through fun games. Programs run for 50 minutes and meet once a week for five weeks. All programs are $89.

LITTLE WIZARDS SOCCER
Little Wizards Soccer is a four-week program for kids aged 4 who want to start playing soccer. This program provides an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of soccer in a team environment, with an emphasis on fun. Teams are coed, and each child receives a team T-shirt as part of their registration fee. A reversible Windsor jersey is not required for this program. Registration opens January 15.
Practices/Games Run: 4/5 – 4/26
SPRING SOCCER
Recreational soccer focuses on basic fundamentals with an emphasis on fun. Teams are gender-specific. The 5U team will practice once a week, while the 6U to 12U teams will practice twice a week, with one guaranteed practice. Each practice will last one hour. Practice start times may vary from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. Specific practice days and times can be found online at recreationliveshere.com/ recreg. If there is a shortage of coaches or players, registered practice dates and times may change. The 10U and 12U divisions may combine with Berthoud, Eaton, or Thompson Rivers Recreation District; some travel may be required. We always need volunteer coaches! Registration opens January 15.

INTERMEDIATE TRAVEL SOCCER
This recreational soccer program is for more avid and skilled players. Practices will be held in Windsor, with half of the games in Windsor and half in the Northern Colorado area. Practices will begin the week of March 10, and the practice days and times will be determined by the coach. Teams are gender-specific. Registration opens January 15.

FLAG FOOTBALL
The Windsor Flag Football league teaches football fundamentals in a team setting. Participants will learn skills (except tackling or blocking, as this is a non-contact league), with an emphasis on equal participation and winning being secondary. Teams will play 5 vs. 5 and are scheduled for six games. Registration opens January 15.

YOUTH VOLLEYBALL
Recreational volleyball offers an easy way to learn the basics while having fun and making new friends. Emphasizing equal participation and winning being secondary, teams will play 6 vs. 6 and are scheduled for six games, with practices twice a week. Practices will begin the week of March 17. GIRLS SOFTBALL GEYL
Recreational softball provides the basic fundamentals with an emphasis on fun. Teams for ages 8U through 15U will play in the Greeley Evans Youth League, with games in Windsor and surrounding Northern Colorado cities. All practices will be in Windsor, beginning the week of May 19. Teams will play 8 to 10 games and a tournament, with the season running through the end of July. Registration is based on the player’s age as of January 1, 2025.

RECREATIONAL T-BALL AND BASEBALL
Recreational baseball provides friendly instructional competition for ages 6 to 15. T-ball - 10U will practice and play games in Windsor. The 12U teams will practice in Windsor and combine leagues with Thompson Rivers and Berthoud, playing games in Windsor, Berthoud, and Johnstown. The 13U and 15U teams will participate in the Greeley Evans Youth League (GEYL), practicing in Windsor and playing in Windsor and Greeley. For more information on the GEYL, visit geyl.org The 6U and 8U teams are coed leagues, playing eight league games. The 10U and 12U seasons will conclude with an end-of-season recreational tournament during the week of July 21. The 13U and 15U teams will play approximately 10 games with a league tournament at the end of July. Registration begins February 5.
START SMART BASEBALL
Start Smart Baseball prepares children for organized baseball and softball in a fun, non-threatening environment. The program focuses on skills such as throwing, catching, batting, and running/agility. It allows parents and children to work one-on-one while teaching effective baseball and softball mechanics. The program will occur on Tuesday evenings starting June 3 and will last for six weeks for ages 4 and 5. A parent meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 29.
UNIFORMS
Uniforms are sold at the Windsor Community Recreation Center. Recreational uniforms may be exchanged or returned within 10 business days of purchase date if it hasn’t been worn or washed and the tags are still attached.

• Any person owning taxable real or personal property in the Town of Windsor and can show verification.

The Windsor Parks, Recreation & Culture Reduced Fee and Severance Youth Scholarship Programs are funded through generous donations from multiple sources including the Windsor Town Board and United Way of Weld County. Reduced fees/Scholarships are available for Town of Windsor & Severance residents meeting qualification guidelines including proof of income and household size taken from the most recent IRS tax form and proof of residency taken from a property tax certification, utility bill or rental agreement.
