The program runs from 8:50 -11:45 am; each class will be 40 minutes.

Signing up with a friend? No problem — just make sure you register for the same program (Option A or Option B) and give the name of your friend at the appropriate prompt. You may only request one friend, and only one-to-one mutual friend requests will be honored. Your child’s group and detailed schedule will be provided in early June.

A Journey into Science:

Discovery and Explorations

Instructor: Gina Wild

Are you curious about systems, cycles, and how things work? This class explores a variety of materials, science concepts, and wonders of nature. Come learn about the how, why, and what behind many science discoveries—we’ll have plenty of fun with polymers, putty, sparkles, and slime!

Nature, Crafts, and Up-cycling

Instructor: Carol Beaver

Do you love picking up rocks and shells?

Do you love making all kinds of crafts and creatively using up-cycled items? We’ll do all that as we create projects like dream catchers, mushroom shaped mini houses, pinecone creatures, garden signs and walking sticks for your next nature hike.

Cardio Club

Instructor: DJ Barraca

Have fun and get active this summer with a mix of running/cardio games! Plus, we’ll cover the basics of cardio workouts to give you options for staying active throughout the year.

Harry Potter

Instructor: Florencia Lagos

The Harry Potter class offers a space for creativity and imagination among Harry Potter enthusiasts or any kid that loves to play in a world of fantasy. We’ll make crafts, create stories, explore magic potions, and play board games that enhance our thinking and strategizing skills—all within the Harry Potter theme! We might even head outside for a game of Quidditch!

Let’s put a new spin on Reduce, Reuse, Recycle as we make a wide variety of fun projects using sculpture, sewing, paper mâché, drawing and painting, and other techniques. We can create bags, vases, mobiles, fridge magnets, candle holders, bookmarks, and more as we look to the recycling bin for inspiration – the possibilities are endless!

Sports & More

Instructor: Dan Osten

Have fun exploring a variety of different sports over the course of the summer! Each day, we’ll focus on a different activity with instruction and time to play! Sports will include soccer, ultimate frisbee, football, kickball, volleyball, and team handball.

The Olympic sport of fencing demands a blend of tactical and strategic thought and a physical execution of those decisions.

Fencing teaches balance and discipline and even more than this, it’s fun! This class is for those new to fencing or those who would like to work on the basic skills. This class will cover basic rules, etiquette, basic footwork, attacks and defenses. All equipment is provided.
