The new site for WAI’s Opening Reception should seem quite familiar to many Interwire attendees

You may never have gone inside the Mercedes-Benz Stadium (MBS), but it is impossible not to notice the structure, with the storied company’s logo strategically placed on the down-slanted diagonal roof.

The reception at the MBS on Tuesday, May 9, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, as ever, will provide the ideal setting for socializing that Interwire attendees at past receptions are used to. Located a short distance from the GWCC, the stadium opened in 2017. It has an amazing story, one that should make for a good backdrop. So, enjoy the company, but do explore the stadium, which also houses an arts display.

MBS notes that it is the busiest stadium in North America, with more than 50 events and 3 million visitors annually. It is the first stadium in professional sports worldwide to be awarded with the environmentally coveted and globally recognized Total Resource Use and Efficiency (TRUE) Platinum certification for its zero waste efforts.

The makings are there for a most memorable reception.
