Hilltoppers prepare for Boca Raton Bowl

WKU Football will head to FAU Stadium Wednesday evening to play James Madison in the 2024 Boca Raton Bowl

Entering Wednesday’s game, WKU has won three straight bowl games, including a win in the Boca Raton Bowl back in 2021, where they defeated Appalachian State 59-38. The Hilltoppers also appeared in the Boca Raton Bowl in 2016, where they defeated the Memphis Tigers 51-31

WKU holds the record for the most points scored in the bowl and is tied with Florida Atlantic and Toledo for the most wins in the bowl with two each

Hilltoppers take 100th all-time win against Murray State

WKU Men’s Basketball overcame poor first half shooting to take down Murray State in overtime 81-76 Saturday afternoon at Diddle Arena

The Hilltoppers turned 31% shooting from the field and 0-10 shooting from three in the first half into 42% field goal and 38% three-point shooting in the second to take down the Racers.

In the 154th matchup between former Ohio Valley Conference Rivals, WKU outscored Murray State 14-9, including a 7-0 run in overtime to earn win 100 against the Racers Despite senior guard Babacar Faye leaving the game due to injury with seven minutes remaining in the second half, WKU outscored Murray State 26-13 the rest of the way He exited the game with 17 points and nine rebounds.
