ABOUT ME
I am 32 years old and I have been travelling the world riding contests and filming various film and photo projects for the last 11 years.
Over the years I have won several titles and have been on the podium more times than I can count. I am very relevant to what is going down in the slope style scene and at the forefront of what is being done with regards to big mountain riding. I have led the charge on the slope style scene and the big mountain scene, winning events, while still putting together the best video segments, year after year. This is what has gotten me to where I am today and I have the reputation of being one of the most constantly riders, always in the mix.
Furthermore, I have created the Bearclaw Invitational slope style competition, on Mount Washington for the past several years. It is a Diamond level event int he FMB World Tour, attracting all of the best slopestyle riders in the world and the most liked event by the riders. The plans moving forward with my event are to do one event on Mount seymour near Vancouver B.C. and one event on the east coast of the U.S. at a mountain resort called Wisp in New Hampshire, which will inevitably become its own tour.
Goals and aspirations for 2015 and beyond. The plan for me is to focus more on content than competitions, I will still compete at the odd event here and there but I will not be chasing the world title anymore. Rampage will be a big focus for me as it is my favourite type of riding, I will be doing three to six top quality web edits per year focusing on my progressive riding in the forests and desert’s across the globe.
Constant gopro web videos will also be coming out from all my trips and adventures, which I have hired a editor to pump out my gopro edits in a timely fashion. A minimum of three Web projects will be adventure based very similar to this edit that will be released very soon on red bull. On the business forefront I have created a global tour guiding company with my partner in the U.S. named Globalepix.com we did two tours last year, one to peru and one to Iceland. Both were successful and we plan on expanding the business bit by bit every year. Partnership opportunity with the company would be to offer your brand of bike or product for rent on our trips to exotic locations around the world. Along with branding on all media outlets. Sponsorship details to be worked out upon request. Second partnership opportunity is I am buying a lodge In Brailorne B.C. with two friends which we will run a year round lodge rental and tour guiding business out of. For the summer operations we will be turning it into a premier mountain bike destination with trails straight from town and a large heli biking operation with plenty of rooms to rent it will become a hit in no time. Over the last decade, my riding has brought me to an icon level in the sport of mountain biking and the action sports world. My online content coupled with my large database of social media fans and my partnership with the two largest media giants, RedBull and Gopro behind me, is a powerhouse of media outreach, I come with. Another thing to note would be that Redbull is turning into a media brand with their release of Redbull, they hope to be one of the premiere action sport and entertainment companies on the planet. They always need content and will be in needing even more in the future. I myself have WTTE2 (Where the Trail Ends), as one of my biggest projects awaiting to be approved.

From a journalistic point of view, Darren Berrecloth is a professional through and through. He is smart, creative, thoughtful, hard working. very reliable, easy to work with and down to earth despite all the hype around his person. Darren Berrecloth is a great ambassador of the sport.
