February 4 - 9 The 48th 6-Days of Copenhagen takes place in the Ballerup Super Arena from 4 - 9 February 2010. February 10 - 14 Alongside one of Europe’s largest fashion fairs, Copenhagen Fashion Festival, a wide range of consumer related fashion events are available to the public. February 20 - 21 Copenhagen’s Bella Center attracts bargain hunters from all over the country for this annual flea market which is Scandinavia’s largest. Visitors can browse through second-hand books, suits, designer vintage clothing, furniture, ceramics and much more. www.bellacenter.dk

Puppet Junior

festivals March 3 - 6 Takes place in four culture centres in Copenhagen. The festival will be a travelling outdoor marketplace with performances and workshops followed by indoor performances. Floor Wars Breakdance Battle

Street ART

March 20 Floor Wars is the biggest breakdance event in Scandinavia, and one of the most well-renowned breakdance events in Europe. The event at Vega in Copenhagen consists of a competition in acrobatic, furious dancing performed by the elite of the international breakdance scene. www.floor-wars.com

UCI Track Cycling World Championships

March 24 - 28 Part of UCI Bike City Copenhagen The best track riders in the world at Ballerup Super Arena. One of the biggest sports events in Denmark this year. The little mermaid travels to China

June 12 The Øresund region celebrates its 10th Anniversary. The Øresund Bridge will be the perfect scene for the ”Bridge Run’s” 10th anniversary event – a unique 21.1 km run attracting 30,000 runners. Around Sealand Boat Race

June 25 - 27 The Around Sealand regatta can be quite a challenge – even to the experienced sailor. More than 700 yachts usually participate in the regatta. With departure from Elsinore, the race has two possible courses around Sealand depending on the wind conditions. www.sjaellandrundt.dk

Copenhagen Pro, Skateboard competition

Tour de Denmark Finish

Denmark’s biggest annual sports event with more than half a million cycling fans along the Danish roads. This year, the event finishes in Rudersdal north of Copenhagen, on top of Geels Hill.
