CIGAR CLUB UPDATE April 2-Man Scramble
BY KEVIN WOLF CIGAR CLUB PRESIDENT
Dear Cigar Club Members,
As the weather warms and the days lengthen, we’re excited to announce our first event of the year. Mark your calendars for Wed, Apr 24, when the Cigar Club will host a 2-man scramble golf event. And yes, for those curious, scoring will be Net. The entry fee is $24 per team, with $20 allocated to the prize fund and $4 designated for team greenies. We’ll award prizes to 1/3 of the field, ensuring a lively competition.
Following the 9-hole event, we’ll gather for hosted appetizers exclusively for Cigar Club members on the back patio, accompanied by a selection of fine cigars. This will be a fantastic opportunity, especially for our new members, whom I am eager to meet.
Membership in the Cigar Club comes with numerous perks, including complimentary food at all our events. Your membership also covers your entry into the Lewis and Clark Expedition in December and grants you the chance to compete in the annual 14 Club Challenge — a must-try event that promises loads of fun.
We also organize three annual trips: Monterey in February, Reno in September, and Las Vegas in October. Membership gives you the exclusive opportunity to sign up for these memorable trips. I look forward to welcoming all our Cigar Club members next month and am especially looking forward to meeting our new additions. Please remember, enjoying cigars is not a prerequisite for club membership.
Our group was established 7-8 years ago by six founding members with a simple mission: to unite those who support Woodbridge and wish to have fun. The idea was sparked one Wednesday night on the back patio, amidst laughter and cigar smoke, giving birth to both the club’s name and its founding spirit.
We look forward to seeing you on Apr 24 for an event filled with camaraderie, competition, and of course, cigars.
