49er Update From St. Patrick’s Day Fun to Guest Days: A Recap of Recent 49ers Golf Events

The 49ers have been making the most of the nearly spring weather, engaging in a variety of games on the golf course.

On Mar 7, we introduced a playful format that included two mulligans, a single putt, and a drive, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who participated.

Our St. Patrick’s Day celebration was a hit, featuring unique twists like partners playing each other’s balls and some alternating shots. The event culminated in a delightful lunch and awarded prizes to the top two teams. Congratulations to Kathy Cockayne, Meg McKenzie, Shannon Hagen, and Juliet Fyffe for winning the day!

Mar 21 marked our first guest day of the year, focusing on the game of low putts. The day was rounded off with a lunch followed by a WNHGA (Women’s Nine Hole Golf Association) training event.

We’re eagerly anticipating our April schedule, which will include stroke play, a ‘3 clubs and a putter’ challenge, another guest day, and a WNHGA Open Day on the 11th.

We warmly invite women of all skill levels who are seeking fun, exercise, and camaraderie to join us.

Looking forward to seeing you on the course!
