February Rain; Mother Nature Love WOMEN’S GOLF UPDATE

Mother Nature was not kind in February, having to cancel our first week of play, but she could not stop three brave souls, Debbie Wall, Chris Phelps, Rene Donaldson from walking and playing the course. Mother Nature did feel the love and our Valentines Party was a success.

What a great job done by Sondra Huff, Diane Gardemeyer, Anne Huyett. Just another over the top event, the table settings were beautiful with the centerpieces raffle off. Winners:

• Dianne Wheeler, Donna Brundy, Laura Reeves, Marlene Weigum, got their flowers early this year.

• Kim D’Angelo, Erin Devries, Jean Devine took first place and all three were sending their love to Ann Huyett, their blind draw who put them over the top.

• Kathy Holtzapple, Sondra Huff, Diane Gardemeyer, Anne Huyett took 2nd place.

• Donna Brundy, Vicki Gallego, Becky Goehring, Beth Grady took 3rd place.

• Betty Sacher got closest to the pin; hope she used her magic putt and got the birdie.

Some of our members were home dealing with Mother Nature, some of our members enjoyed sunshine and golf on the club’s trip to Cabo, a great time was had by all.
