Dear Woodcrest Members, I would like to thank all of our members in making 2019 a fantastic year and we are already gearing up for the 2020 season. We have started our fall golf course capital improvement projects beginning with the fairway bunker on the 10th hole. Throughout the fall and over the winter, we will be doing several major projects which include more bunkers, cart path work, drainage and tree removal. These upgrades will continue to elevate Woodcrest, making it an even better golf course. Hot off the press are our 2020 membership rates. As you can see, there has been only a modest increase over the 2019 rates. Having said that, there are substantial early pay incentives for paying your 2020 membership in full by December 14th of this year. Like last year, we have an amazing “New Member Referral Program” for those of you who know someone who may be interested in joining the club. Please bring anybody interested in joining the club to our Membership Open House and Appreciation Night on Thursday, November 14th. It is sure to be a fun evening and a great opportunity to meet new and potential members, along with the Woodcrest Country Club Management Team. Further details can be found inside the newsletter. Friday Night Live was once again a huge success during the summer months. Everyone enjoyed the live entertainment, delicious food and drinks on our Bar 1929 patio. Friday Night Live will be moved indoors to the Fountain Ballroom during the winter months starting January 24th, kicking it off with one of Woodcrest favorites, Jimmy Dunn. Be sure to make your reservations for dining in the Fountain Room or warming up with a delicious cocktail by the fireplace while listening to some awesome live entertainment. Please see the calendar inside the newsletter for our Friday Night Live winter entertainment schedule. George Jordan, our Director of Food and Beverage, our Event Sales and Culinary Team are always eager to help plan your special event. Be sure to reach out to George and his team to help plan your special day from start to finish. Holiday parties are booking up rapidly, so call now to meet with George and his team to reserve your date. Dear Woodcrest Members,

The Fall season is here and conditions couldn’t be more ideal for golf! Please call the Golf Shop to book your tee times before the leaves are all off the trees and the cold weather begins to hit. Monday tee times will start at 12:00pm through the end of October. Please note, the golf course is closed on Mondays from November - March. So far, 2019 has been a tremendous season; the weather has been great and the course continues to look and play fantastic. If you haven't been out in a while, I encourage you to come see the course and get your final rounds in before aerification. I would like to personally thank Patrick Lucas and his Grounds Crew for all the hard work they put in keeping this golf course in the terrific shape it’s in. Winter Rates November is upon us and that means our Winter Rates will go into effect starting on November 1st. Please see the next page for our Winter Rates and remember golfing members receive a 20% discount off the posted rate! Golf Simulator and Indoor Facility

Rain or snow outside? No worries: our state-of-the-art Trackman 4 Simulator is available for members and guests to use whether you would like to practice or play some of the most prestigious courses around the world. Please see the next page for our Golf Simulator Rates and call the Golf Shop to schedule a time to use this service. Tournament Results We had a busy tournament schedule in 2019 and I would like to personally thank everyone who participated in our club tournaments this year. More people participated in 2019 than either of the last two years, and we hope that is a testament to how much our members are enjoying their time at WCC! SOCIALLY SPEAKING... From the Desk of George Jordan Director of Food & Beverage We made it through another blazing hot summer! Where does the time go? It seems like yesterday we were filling the pool and getting ready for summer! With the start of fall we know winter is not far behind. Let’s hope for a mild winter! The summer was a lot of fun and we had a very busy pool season. We received many compliments on the service and food selection at the Grill at the Turn this summer. I would like to thank all of you that came out to support the club, attended our great events and Friday Night Lives we hosted. A very special thank you to all the members that hosted their private events at Woodcrest. Autumn will be very busy at the club. The club is booked with events through the end of December. Woodcrest continues to receive rave reviews for our catering and events. We would not be where we are without our amazing sales team, banquet staff and our very talented culinary team. Kudos to the entire team for helping to make Woodcrest Country Club the premier event venue in South Jersey. Fall Sausage Ragù with Gnocchi Ingredients

Ingredients 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/2 cup pre diced yellow onions 1/2 cup pre diced bell peppers 1 lb mild Italian sausage, casing removed 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt 1 (14.5-oz) can fire-roasted diced tomatoes, undrained 1 cup pumpkin puree 1 cup chicken stock

Instructions

Steps One: Preheat large stockpot on medium-high 2–3 minutes. Two: Place oil, onions, and peppers in pot; cook 2 minutes. Three: Meanwhile, remove sausage casing by cutting almost in half lengthwise (butterfly); turn sausage over and peel casing away. Four: Add sausage, seasonings, red pepper, and salt; brown 3–4 minutes, stirring to crumble meat, and until no pink remains. Five: Stir in tomatoes, pumpkin, stock, and gnocchi, then cover; reduce heat to medium and simmer 5–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until hot and gnocchi are tender. Six: Serve.
