Holland Park Holland Park is the Royal Borough’s largest park. It has sports areas, children’s playgrounds, and acres of land to explore. We also have a cafeteria and large areas of woodland abundant with wildlife. Holland Park also has the beautiful Kyoto Garden. This is the Japanese garden donated by the Chamber of Commerce of Kyoto in 1991. Holland Park is also the base of the borough’s Ecology Service. The Ecology Centre at Holland Park runs a series of events, activities, and educational visits for schools. The Tabernacle We are considered to be a place that has to be one of the best kept local tips in the area. This venue is unique in that it houses a cafe/bar restaurant serving a good range of well priced snacks and meals, but not just that it has a music hall upstairs for gigs and downstairs is an enthusiastic art gallery. Avondale Park Avondale Park is a small park in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London, England, between Walmer and Sirdar Roads. It has a mix of formal gardens, sports facilities, and lawns. Notably, it is home to what is believed to be Britain’s first floral lawn. Avondale Park is a staffed park with the following facilities: formal gardens, children’s play area, small wildlife area, games area (5-a-side football, netball and tennis), public toilets. With an aim to improve biodiversity in the park, a grass-free lawn was created.
