Space to hire Our well equipped and up to date facilities are available for hire for corporate or private use, both within the college and in our Sanditon Conference Centre. Our room hire rates are highly competitive, so please contact us if you are looking for classrooms, dance studio or are planning a social occasion. Session Times for Hirers Sessions are 09:00 – 13:00, 14:00 – 18:00 and 18:00 – 22:00 or any part thereof. Saturday and Sunday 09.00 – 22:00 or later by previous arrangement (availability and additional charges may apply)
Conference spaces
Sanditon Conference Centre Our Conference Centre offers a range of facilities to suit your every need. It is an ideal venue for exhibitions, conferences, networking, meetings or interviews, training sessions, parties and wedding receptions. Our aim is to work with you on an individual basis to create a unique event, working within your budget to achieve an affordable and successful event or occasion. Prices are from ÂŁ100 per session depending on which room would suit you best. Please contact us to make an appointment to view and discuss your requirements.
Open spaces Exhibition Hall Our large Exhibition Hall measures approximately 15 x 23 metres and has seating capacity for up to 250 people. There is a projector / whiteboard available, various seating options, including theatre style or cabaret style depending upon your requirements. The Exhibition Hall can be hired for ÂŁ250 per session.
Meeting spaces
Meeting Rooms We have several meeting rooms for hire. These measure approximately 6 x 6 metres, seat a maximum of 15 people and have a projector and IT facilities available if required. Costs for hire are £40 per session.
Classrooms We have workstations available in IT rooms and tables and chairs available in general classrooms. There are whiteboard facilities, projectors and IT equipment is available.
Learning Zones Our learning zones are open plan and have settees, tables and chairs and offer a more relaxed atmosphere. Prices start at £50 per session.
Our classrooms can be laid out in exam style or traditional style and rates for hire start at £55 per session.
Dramatic spaces Sealight Theatre The Sealight Theatre is a lovely concert venue with raked seating and a Yamaha 5’5� grand piano. Measuring 13 x 12 metres, it has bleacher seating for 98 people, all of which folds into the wall to provide more space to rehearse. There is a stage, (stage blocks are available which can be used to build sets or podiums where required), curtains across mirrored walls and a sound system that can run from CDs MP3 devices, laptops or phones. We also have a small whiteboard and a television with DVD player. There is also a large flat screen television and DVD player. Prices for hire upon application so please contact us for more details.
Creative spaces
Dance Studio Our fantastic dance studio can be hired from ÂŁ75.00 per session. We have a minimum booking time of four hours. Other classrooms can also be used for exercise classes, so please contact us for details. The dance studio measures 10 x 10 metres, holds up to 25 dancers and has mirrors and a professionally sprung floor. We have our own complete sound system available for your use. It can be used for dance classes, pilates, yoga, aerobics or any other dance based activity. Please be aware that outdoor shoes cannot be worn in the Dance Studio.
Music Room We have a fantastic large music room with piano, ideal for choir or band rehearsals. Also available is a suite of four practice rooms, which could be used for music lessons. All of these rooms are equipped with pianos but other instruments will need to be provided by the hirer. Computers and whiteboards can also be made available if required. Costs for hire are ÂŁ75 per session.
Creative spaces
East and West Cafés Two large and well equipped cafés are available for hire. These are ideal for parties and other social occasions. Catering facilities are available with tables, chairs and outside patio areas. Hiring costs begin at £250 per session. We can offer caterers if required, please contact us for more details.
