BEST EVER A LEVEL RESULTS
FOR THE FIFTH YEAR RUNNING
ADVANCED LEVEL RESULTS LEAFLET 2019
worthing.ac.uk
Best ever results - again For the fifth year in succession Worthing College celebrated its best ever set of A Level results. This reflects the outstanding teaching and learning experience available to its students, which is continuing to have a real impact and clearly shows that local students need look no further for their post-16 education. The A Level pass rate was 99.1%. 26 out of 31 A Level subjects achieved 100% pass rate. 74.5% of A Level students achieved high grades of A*-C or equivalent at A Level. These results follow an outstanding year of student achievements and the ‘Good’ Ofsted we achieved in 2016, which demonstrated that the college is good in every respect. The A Level pass rates are above the National Average for General Further Education Colleges and will enable our students to progress to top universities, apprenticeships, employment and further training. We wish our students every success in their future. We would also like to congratulate each and every one of our dedicated and inspirational staff for the excellent teaching, learning and support they have provided for our students this year. These results reflect an outstanding commitment to high quality education and training in our local community.
