Results 2015
Worthing College celebrated its best ever results for A Level, AS and BTEC The A Level pass rate was 98.3% and 39.2% of students achieved high grades at A*- B. • Students in 32 A and AS Level subjects achieved 100% pass rate. • 129 students achieved 3 or 4 A grades or equivalent at A Level or Advanced BTEC Diplomas. • The pass rate for BTEC Level 3 was 97.7%. • The pass rate for BTEC Level 2 Diplomas was 97.7%. Worthing College Principal, Peter Corrigan, said: “The results that our students achieved today are excellent. These students are the first to be taught exclusively at our outstanding new college and these results reflect the outstanding learning environments and teaching that the college provides. The A Level pass rate of 98.3% is the best ever achieved by our students. The AS Level pass rate at 90.8% is also the best ever and has improved by 5% since last year. BTEC qualifications have also improved with a pass rate of 97.7%. These results follow an outstanding year of student achievements at the college. These best ever results which are all above National Averages for Sixth Form Colleges will enable our students to progress to top Universities, Apprenticeships, employment and further training. We wish our students every success in their future.
