CLASSROOM VISITS - Please plan your classroom visits so that you can see your child working with the other students in the classroom according to the department schedule. Any specific concerns or problems you might have should be discussed with the teacher and the department principal at a later date.
12:30 p.m. For All Students Students must stay with their teachers at all times during the day. They are not permitted to go with parents until dismissal from the dormitory. We are sure that you understand the importance of students remaining with their classes. After lunch, the students will go to their respective dormitories to checkout. If your child regularly rides the bus home, but is leaving with you on May Day, please go to the dormitory to pick them up. Remaining students will proceed to the buses. There will be no classroom visits in the afternoon.
TRANSPORTATION - If you are coming, please be sure to make your child’s transportation known to us. Inform your transportation company and your child’s teacher if you intend to take your child with you. All students must check out of the dormitory before leaving for home. GETTING AROUND - Hostesses will be stationed throughout the school during the morning. Don’t hesitate to ask them for directions to the classrooms. Please remember to pick up your child’s classroom schedule in the main hallway. BABY STATION - For your convenience, a baby station will be set up in the Health Center in the Girls’ Dormitory for visitors to feed or change infants. Look for the signs. No babysitting service is available. VIDEOTAPING - We respectfully request that you do not use video cameras in the classroom. They create considerable distraction. Of course, you may use your cameras to record any or all of the crowning and program.
