About This Book We learned about space, and the sun, the moon and the stars. Then we made up stories about different heroes and characters, and how some of them might go to space or talk to the sun and moon! We each did drawings for our characters, and then made shadow puppets out of the drawings, so we could act out our stories and learn about the light of the sun. All of our stories and the drawings for our puppets are here in this book.

Mr. Wildcat Goes to the Moon By Anakin
The wildcat went on a rocket ship to the moon. When he was there, he had a picnic. He had an apple, a banana and a delicious bowl of spaghetti. Then he saw some aliens. They tried to steal his food, but it was a magic picnic basket. The basket was empty until you asked it for what you wanted. The aliens asked for a jelly flood! It happened because they asked for jelly but forgot to say “but not a lot.” The wildcat said, “Oh no!” And they lived happily ever after.

The YouTube Diaries By Payshintz
In Burnaby, there was a group of good friends: Kitty, Michael Jackson and three penguins, named Gunter, Yugi and Spaghetti. They were making a YouTube channel at Kitty’s house. All of a sudden, Kitty suggested to them, “Let’s go to space to make a funner YouTube!” Everyone agreed and said “perfect!” and they decided to go to space. They shook hands and jumped into space. It took six minutes to get to space from Burnaby. When they finally arrived, they started making a YouTube. Michael said to everyone, “I can teach you guys how to Moonwalk.” They said yes! Doing the Moonwalk was easy for them and they did it for an hour. They succeeded in recording an exciting YouTube! Yeah! They became really hungry because they had danced for a long time, so they decided to go back to Burnaby. They held each other and jumped to Burnaby. Six minutes later, they landed in Burnaby. They made spaghetti at Kitty’s house and enjoyed their lunch. After that, they had a nap. While they had a nap, all of them were dancing in their dreams. After waking up, they played with slime and created a new YouTube about it. Since they liked dancing a lot, they started dancing again.

Pepper Goes on an Adventure By Christian
Pepper the Cat accidentally got on a rocket ship. He went to all the planets he knew. He also went to the sun, and then he went to the moon. He went back to Earth after the moon. He told everyone he knew about his adventures. He told some animals from the farm. He was too scared to talk to the wolf, but he had to. Then he told his friend the dog. The dog was excited to hear the story. He celebrated because Pepper had gone to different planets. I guess he was wishing for a million cat treats. But then Pepper was leaving. Pepper had extra cake for everybody. It was Pepper’s birthday. “Let’s celebrate it,” everyone said. They sang the happy birthday song.

Warning: This story is very scary. Mystery raptors can pop out suddenly at any second. Some stuff is cursed in Jurassic Park. They get their power from the moon there, and the raptors always get loose because the power shuts down a lot. The first raptor in the park was very dangerous. His name was Echo. A guy tricked the researchers and the computer went cuckoo. The computer said, “Ah, ah, ah, you didn’t say the magic word!” Then the researchers had to make a decision and they shut the power down. But it was the wrong decision! Echo hunted down the humans and tried to eat them. Some kids were hiding in the kitchen, and some raptors tried to eat them, too. If the raptors found the kids, they would be in severe danger. How do the kids escape? To be continued . . .
