Welcome to our book of legends! We wrote legends and stories that had three parts, and made stacking story boxes to go with each part of our legends. The boxes fit inside each other, and so do the parts of our stories. We hope you enjoy them.

Peter the Cat One cloudy day, Peter the Cat was in his owner’s backyard. He was trying to catch a butterfly and he caught up to it and ate it. And then he got lost. But then he found some of his cat friends, and some citizens took care of them. The next day Peter the Cat was chasing a butterfly again. He didn’t like butterflies because a butterfly got into his house once. And then Peter the Cat and his friends were all led back to their homes by another butterfly. And that’s how they learned to like butterflies and to not go too far from home.

Blackberry and her friends wanted to help Strawberry. They decided they could only use magic once a year, because it was special. They touched her and—boom—she turned red. “Wow,” said Strawberry. She thanked her friends.
