By Jeramy
There is a horde of cyborg zombies living in a basement near our apartment. It all started out before the whole town got infected.

One day my friend Amelia was playing Roblox. She heard growling and grunting coming from her basement but she ignored it and kept playing. But then she heard screaming. She got a little scared, so she paused her game and went to investigate the sound. She opened the basement door and saw that there was no electricity.
“Oh no, there’s no light,” she said. “This will be hard.”
She went into the basement. Over by the corner of the wall, she saw a hand... and it moved. She moved closer to see what it was, being careful so she wouldn’t get jumped. It was a zombie. He had flesh dripping off him, and lots of blood.
Amelia’s phone was dead so she couldn’t take a picture. She ran upstairs and locked the door. She tried to tell everyone but no one would believe her because she didn’t have a photo of the zombie.
And that is the story of the Grandview zombie horde.

This story begins with a guy named Casper who got crushed by a bookshelf and awoke as a ghost. When he woke up, he was shook at the realization that he could now float through the walls. He tried to fly, too, but found that he could not, and that made him angry.
Casper went outside and saw that the world was a whole different place than it had been when he entered the bookstore. Instead of a busy street with shops and people, all that was left was sand and empty space. He floated for a couple of miles, until he eventually ran into a guy named D. Who was D.? D., it turns out, had the same story as Casper.
D. and Casper told each other about how they both came to be where they were. They were both really confused, but they also realized that they would have to work together to get out of this place. The first thing they wanted was water. Apparently, even ghosts get thirsty. They saw something in the far-off distance that looked kind of like a tree, so they decided to float toward it. When they reached the thing that looked like a tree, they realized it was a bookshelf! They could see that someone was on the other side of the bookshelf, but they couldn’t tell who it was. D. was scared, so he pushed the bookshelf onto the mysterious person and crushed him.
Casper floated over to the body and looked down at the mysterious person. It was Casper himself! He turned around, and D. was gone.
