ast Dunbartonshire Council recently thanked WRVS volunteers for their dedication and commitment to the local community, presenting a plaque in recognition of their efforts. WRVS Meals on Wheels
provides a vital service to many local people in East Dunbartonshire, with over 340 meals a month delivered. “We are delighted to receive this plaque and the recognition of the great work our staff and volunteers carry out day after

embers of the Scottish Parliament recognise that, thanks to the help of our volunteers, WRVS delivers great services across Scotland. For WRVS to work even more effectively in Parliament, we’d like you to write to your MSPs enquiring about the Scottish Government’s Change Fund. The Change Fund is a £70m fund designed to promote preventative services, such as those provided by WRVS. We really want to know what is and isn’t working in your area and the best way of doing this is to have MSPs ask in Parliament about how the Change Fund will be evaluated. You have eight MSPs, one for your constituency and seven for your region. We’d like you to write to all of them to help bring to their attention the great work that WRVS is doing in your communities. In order to find out who your MSPs are and get a sample letter email your postcode to peter. mccoll@wrvs.org.uk or call him on 0131 474 6179.
