Default having been made in the payment of the indebtedness and obligations secured by a certain Deed of Trust on property currently owned by ROBERT L. CANTRELL, SR., and HELEN CANTRELL, and EDDIE ESTES and which Deed of Trust was executed by Robert L. Cantrell, Sr., and Eddie Estes, to Charles Patterson, Trustee for James W. Lane Introduces Director of the First-Year Experience Lane College welcomes Mr. Kenneth S. Frierson as the new Director of the First-Year Experience. Frierson is a proud member of the Class of 2009, where he graduated summa cum laude receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree in English (Religion Minor). He also was the college’s second recipient of the Mellon-Mays Undergraduate Fellowship, which allowed him to conduct research at Emory University during the summer of 2008, travel to the University of Cape Town in South Africa in early 2009, and intern in Atlanta, Georgia during the summer of 2009.
KEEP MY HOOD GOOD COMMUNITY CAMPAIGN - CONT’D FROM PAGE 2 This is a comprehensive program that trains, mobilizes and empowers youth to prevent the illegal use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs and self destructive behaviors in themselves ad their peers. TTI prepares students to not only make positive changes, but to be proud advocates of those changes. Students will have the opportunity to grow and learn as individuals, while enhancing their leadership abilities. Because TTI is peer-led, teens are given a unique opportunity to have a “voice” in addressing issues important to them. Giving youth some ownership in this type of program is one of the key factors in the success of enforcing a substance free lifestyle. Held on the Tennessee Tech University Campus, June 21-26th, TTI 2015 hosted approximately 400 teen leaders, adult advisors, and TTI staff. These participants leave motivated not only to make healthy decisions in their own lives, but also committed to work so that others are making decisions as well.
