Mary, the Mother of God, foretold, in Her prophetic apparitions, that a dark age will come, when the righteous will be condemned and the corrupted glorified. The most faithful to the Church will be removed from Her, priests will be suspended, in spite of the fact that it will be them who will share goodness and the Truth of the Gospel. “We need to remember, however, that it is the Saviour Himself, the only Judge, Jesus Christ, who will evaluate us. It is Him who has the final say, not any other person on earth” – says Father Peter in his book. Yes, we must not forget, that the Judge of this world, our Saviour, the Son of God incarnated was judged and crucified for saying that He was the Son of GOD. He could say nothing else for this was the truth, He could not lie because there was nothing evil in Him. Our times seem to be reveal that salvation has reached a critical point and thus at the same time the
last stage in the history of the world before the Parousia. Fr. Peter’s book is a confession of both an experienced priest and recognised former exorcist; a witness of Christ who experiences the fulfilment of the prophesies revealed in Mary’s apparitions from Akita, Quito, Fatima, La Salette, and other places. The author acknowledges responsibility for a task he took up during his pilgrimage to La Salette. The task which is a consequence of accepting Mary’s words: “I remember that when I first came to La Salette and saw the place of Marian apparitions, I asked myself a question: “Can I, as a priest, ignore Her words?”
Fr. Peter has always preached his Marian message, but in this book he is earnestly exhorting us to heed the words of Mary related in the recognised Apparitions of the Church; this time it is a real cry calling us to hide in the shadow of the Mother of Jesus. What resounds on every page as a new and dramatic chord of his book is a spectre of the times of Antichrist and antichrists. I have been told lately that Greeks did not invent tragedy. They only discovered it. Yes, this is true – tragedy is not a phenomenon from the realm of fantasy. It is truly tangible and accessible for many of us. Let me draw your attention to an intriguing detail: in the Gospels the word “tragedy” does not appear at all. We read about crucifixion, but always right
next to resurrection. When living our life with Christ we are not absorbed by tragedy. All that can happen to us is experience of the drama of the cross and euphoria of resurrection. Let us not forget: to live at least one hour with Christ, you need to stand extremely close to His Mother for twenty-three hours – this is what Fr. Peter keeps reminding us about. Why this cry? Because unrepeated truth may be heard, but it will never become truth that has a potential to save us.
The last few years became for many Catholics a real Golgotha where most people have distanced themselves from the Crucified and there are only few who are able to draw closer to Him without any fear. The latter are waiting for resurrection thanks to Mary, the Mother and Virgin. Crucifixion was not a tragedy; the real tragedy was and still is that so many people are distancing themselves from the Crucified. Without Christ no one is able to experience resurrection in glory and many choose not to make the journey from suffering, death and sin to eternal happiness. However, to experience this pass-over together with Him, we need to be very close to His Mother. Jesus has to see us from the height of the cross hanging so close to Mary, so that His cry: “Woman, this is your son” concerns us.
The powers of darkness do not want Jesus’ cry from the cross to become a testament for all of us, and that is why they keep sending various types of antichrists
to the world, saving Antichrist for the final battle. The biggest escalation of Antichrist’s appearances is meant to take place directly before the Parousia, that is making Christ present in our world. In the Greek original of the First Letter of St. John (cf. 2:18), Antichrist is clearly separated from antichrists – the latter are his predecessors, forerunners and arsonists of his fire. They create a global phenomenon called, in the oldest prophecy of Paul the Apostle, apostasy, which is deception (cf. 2 Thess 2:3). The Catechism of the Catholic Church is quite clear about this.
This book will most probably disappear from bookshelves only to reappear in an abbreviated version, hopefully similar to a diary of Saint Gemma Galgani… Point 675 of our Catechism, speaks of the deception as the sign for the Church that points to Christ’s second coming. Cardinals Ejik, Burke and Muller confirmed lately, that we are experiencing this ultimate deception that is an effect of actions of antichrists and Antichrist himself. The essence of the deception is to keep the appearance of Christianity while attempting to destroy its very essence, communion with God. In other words, the abomination of desolation can be compared to an external cult of trivialised Christianity… the devastating consequences of which can only be compared to the burning to the ground of Notre Dame Cathedral.
The attitude of Antichrist has been known to Christianity from the very beginning: Judas, the one who in Martha’s house was faking care for the poor and at the same time kept stealing from the apostles’ purse, who was called the ‘son of deception’ is an example of this attitude. The prophecy of the apostle Paul pointed to the activities of Antichrist as being a signal of Christ’s second coming (cf. 2 Thess 2:3). Apostates have existed since the beginning of Christianity, but this special apostate, Antichrist, who will come directly before the Parousia, has not appeared yet. In the Church there were early apostates such as: Simon Magus, Elimas, Nicolaitians, Gnostics and heretics. They have been fought for ages and the entire effort of this struggle was written down after almost 900 years by a monk, Adso of Montier-en-Der, around the year 954 in a letter to queen Gerberga of France. The figure of Antichrist has appeared in various works of Christian writers many times throughout the centuries. People have tried to discover his secret to be able to identify him. Hugo Ripelin noticed a mirror difference between the Antichrist and Christ: If the Saviour was born of the Virgin by the Holy Spirit, Antichrist shall be born of a lusty and debaucherous woman through her contact with the spirit of darkness. If in the Book of Revelation the tribe of Dan is not on the list of saved ones (Rev 7), it follows that Antichrist will
come from this excluded tribe – he will be a total reversal of Christ. Christ – the Truth – will be regarded as a liar and deceiver, while the Antichrist will be regarded as someone trustworthy, although he will be a liar and an apostate. It was Hugo Ripelin who for the first time perceived Antichrist as a great globalist, a ruler of a global religion, and at the same time a persecutor in the name of peace and brotherhood. Since the times of Protestantism the Antichrist has often been perceived not as an individual but rather as an institution, structure, or system. This conviction resounds in the sensational insights concerning the number 666 (Rev 13:18), hidden in the three letters www that come before each Internet address (waw is the sixth letter of the Hebrew alphabet), or information about inserting chips to human bodies that we hear about more and more often! Regardless whether somebody still sees it as a conspiracy theory or a manifestation of panicky inclination of human nature, chipping is becoming a reality not only in China, Australia and Norway but throughout the world. Radical opponents of Novus Ordo went as far as seeing the number 666 in 66 years of life of Paul VI , the age when he was elected to the papal throne, or six protestant advisors supporting construction of a new Missal (sic!). One can multiply astonishing, fantastic and fanatic connotations
or authentic associations… Do we live in the times of Antichrist?
An author who wrote most frequently about Antichrist was John, Jesus’ beloved disciple. The Marian apostle wrote a lot about Antichrist in his letters. Maybe someone who is close to Mary can see more clearly not only Christ, but also His unreal mirror image of Antichrist?! Although shapes are similar in a mirror, we can see only a reflection of a person, not the person himself. Saint Hilary pointed out that the title “the son of destruction” used by Saint Paul in relation to the Antichrist (2 Thess 2:3), was used in the same way by Jesus in relation to Judas (Jn 17:12). Can we therefore presume that Antichrist will be, similar to Judas, an apostate chosen disciple; one of the leaders of the Church? Saint Bernard feared that the only way Antichrist might “deceive, if that were possible, even the elect” (cf. Matt 24:24), would be his sitting on the papal throne. This option was mentioned by James Wardner, which became quite a sensation. Obviously, there are thousands of publications, articles, bloggers’ leads and misleading comments that become more and more shocking in this respect. We must be very careful with our discernment. This is why, while reading Fr. Peter’s book, I simply had to ask myself a question about the real meaning of the words uttered by the Mother of God on September 19, 1846 in La Salette:
Rome will lose the faith and become the seat of the Antichrist.
Of course, the author does not write about it explicitly, but the content of the book makes this question unavoidable, because if we witness Mary’s last call of warning, the times cannot be the best ones for the Church, can they?
Where there is Mary, there is an obligatory choice to be made: You are either with Christ, or you become one of the antichrists! If somebody is close to Her, it is impossible for him or her to avoid closeness with the crucified and risen Jesus. The vision of the diabolic tragedy of Antichrist and his followers will also be experienced by them.
We know that on October 13, 1884, which was precisely thirty three years before October 13, 1917, when Mary said to the children: “Let people offend our Lord God no more, for He is already much offended”, after a morning Mass Pope Leo XIII heard a conversation out of this world and was shaken by it. The Pope passed out and some thought he was dead. When the Pope got back on his feet, he said that he heard Satan demanded “verification” of the Church from Christ. Satan boasted he could destroy the Church in 100 years (some claim it was 75 years). How should we understand these 100 years, literally or symbolically? What really happened
in 1984? How should we understand this prophecy in 2019? One hundred and thirty five years passed from this vision and … the end of evil cannot be seen! On the contrary, the Pope was informed about Satan’s demands and Christ’s approval! After this event Leo XIII wrote the famous prayer to the Archangel Michael which used to be recited after every Mass. Its original form was modified for the first time in 1934 (fifty years after the vision of Leo XIII), when the words concerning “[…] most crafty enemies who have filled and inebriated with gall and bitterness the Church” were removed. After the Second Vatican Council the prayer to the Archangel Michael was completely ignored. After the last council the sacrament of penance and reconciliation became an inconvenient sacrament: Less and less people would go to confession and priests would often avoid this sacrament. This was a symptom of the most dangerous process of corrosion of the Church, because, as we know, without confession we are unaware of sin, and without awareness of the evil we do, we cannot see the need for conversion. Even the very word “salvation” becomes unnecessary in theology. The Mother of God warned us:
“The devil will want to destroy the sacrament of penance using people with authority”. She made a request: “Tell everyone, that Jesus suffers a lot when we receive Holy Communion in the state of sin”.
Archbishop Fulton Sheen was of the opinion that Antichrist will persuade people that the other world does not exist – he will preach that there is no hell. Later he will claim that purgatory is a purely human invention and eventually he will maintain that heaven can be reached on earth and other types of heaven are a pure utopia. Antichrist’s narratives will be filthy but perversely convincing: there is no hell! If there is no hell, then there is no sin; and if sin does not exist, it follows that there is no good and evil. In Antichrist man will be deified and this cunning attack will adopt dangerous appearances of religious correctness – millions of Christians will be deceived. The commandment of love of God will give way to the commandment of man, or to be more precise the commandment of shallow philanthropy or degenerated desire. For centuries the word “love” was used to justify both hypocrisy and deviations. Antichrist will not be Satan incarnated, but a human being under a hidden influence of Satan. He will be a creature radiating with antinomies and anomies; contrary to Jesus, who gave a real conciliation with God and initiated internal integration in man. Antichrist will preach his own version of the Bible without fragments concerning the final judgment and a possibility of eternal damnation and God’s justice. In order to gain popularity, he will allow for unrestrained sexual morality. Antichrist will deceive
humankind with a dreamy vision – simulation of happiness, paradise and health. He will bewitch people with an image of Arcady. We already have numerous apostles of idyllic times among people with degrees in theology, in high positions of authority. There are more and more of them – lovers of the revolution in the Church, a reform of paradigms, ecumenism that seeks unity at the price of false irenicism, festivals of youth and symposiums of liberalism. All these things are a part of a vision given to Sister Mariana in Quito and are mentioned by the author of this book: “For many contemporary theologians the diagnosis of the present state of affairs presented during the apparitions from Quito is unacceptable. They are convinced that they live in wonderful times of the post-conciliar triumph of openness, tolerance and dialogue, wonderful development of ecu menism and rejection of old-fashioned concepts. It is a good idea, however, to see the situation from the perspective of the Bible”. Somebody wrote that even Saint Peter, trying to save his boat half filled with water from drowning, was not crazy enough to make holes in boards of the boat to let the water out.
Reduction of the commandment of love and the image of God will happen in unnoticeable and deceptive ways – spiritual authorities will preach a commandment that is pleasing for human egoism. The
commandment will boil down to the following message: “Love only your neighbour, focus on man – man is the most important part of it all! You are adored by God!”. Contemplation of man will resound from urban bishops to rural pulpits. One has an overwhelming impression that for some time hierarchical authority in the Church has been strangely paralysed. Is this the mystery of iniquity Paul wrote about with his shaking hand: “As they make a pretense of religion but deny its power. Reject them”? (2 Tim 3:5). Pretense of religion, piety of huge gatherings, collective worship, events for thousands of people that have more in common with sociotechnical manipulation than preaching of the revealed truth. They can hardly be called liturgy1. They resemble emotional stimulation, concerts and dancing parties or ballet, and have very little to do with spiritual consolation. It begins to happen. Not so long ago a pilgrimage hit was a modified version of Despacito (the original version is explicitly erotic). Let us wait for few more years and we will see trans-techno platforms with rainbow flags during pilgrimages. Eucharist in Saint Gandolf’s parish in Heinsberg was celebrated,

according to a written report, “with women in miniskirts, a priest dressed as a woman and hand Communion available even for a protestant minister”. More and more often people invent their own religion, while the truth is: the liturgy was God’s work revealed to Moses in every detail. Christ deepened the Jewish Passover through His own death and resurrection so that every element would be irremovable and reaching to eternity. It may seem strange for contemporary men, but this is extremely important, for in the liturgy we are dealing with the Supreme Being, God himself. For someone standing on the edge of a skyscraper it is vital whether he is dancing tango or standing focused. Eucharist is a sphere that brings man to the verge of salvation and damnation. The Apostles Peter and Judas experienced this truth during the Last Supper. Pope Benedict XVI wrote as Cardinal Ratzinger: Man himself cannot simply “make” worship. If God does not reveal himself, man is clutching empty space. Moses says to Pharaoh: “We do not know with what we must serve the lord” (Ex 10:26). These words display a fundamental law of all liturgy. When God does not reveal himself, man can, of course, from the sense of God within him, build altars “to the unknown god” (cf. Acts 17:23). He
can reach out toward God in his thinking and try to feel his way toward God in his thinking and try to feel his way toward him. But real liturgy implies that God responds and reveals how we can worship him. In any form, liturgy includes some kind of “institution”. It cannot spring from imagination, our own creativity – then it would remain just a cry in the dark or mere self-affirmation.2
In the age of Antichrist such topics as the cross, sin, suffering and death will be removed from the Church’s teaching. Health, ecology and fake unity between people will be preached instead. Pseudo-affirmation of man will obscure real emotions by negation of loneliness and sadness. Crowds will be forced to show artificial joy. This is going to be piety without God – simply the desolate abomination! Peace of conscience will be replaced by an artificial peace between cultures and religions. Peace of Christ and calmness of Antichrist are two different and hostile realities. Fr. Glass mentions Solovyov’s intuition and his views on “peace” of Antichrist and peace of Christ. He points at a terrifying balance between “having fun” and “be saved”: “This phenomenon can be clearly
visible in the world that surrounds us. People plunge into an illusory state of safety offered by entertainment, leisure, and artificial communication. Our hands are no longer busy with turning over pages of the Bible, spiritual reading or rosary beads. They are occupied with Smartphones and applications; Snapchat, Instagram and Facebook”.
Salvation happens only through Jesus Christ and the only way to escape from wickedness of this world leads through Him. He said about Himself that He was the Way. He did not say that there were other ways, and since Christ is one with the Church, which is His body, salvation is available only in the Catholic Church. Nowadays too many theologians claim that Christianity is equal to other religions. The truth is that Christianity is not just another religion among other religions. Christianity is the only religion revealed to everyone who searched for God in other religions. They can choose to follow it or to give it up – the choice is theirs. However, as we can see contemporary men are more inclined to give the Church up than to remain in her. This is due to reasons that can be found in ourselves – ungodliness born, much to my chagrin, from the womb of the Church.
Does our era reveal the mystery of iniquity? Does our time that we are immersed in allow us to recognise signs of decline of the world? The worst type of
iniquity starts in a seemingly pious way: it is enough not to notice iniquity in the name of piety! Fr. Peter writes: “When I try to teach and explain the issue, I am often told that, first of all, I do not understand new ways in the Church and, second of all, I am Polish and I exaggerate the problem… In the West people are not told about personal evil, sin and things that await us after death. Many priests keep out of such “sensitive” topics due to a very simple reason – they are afraid of accusations and troubles as well as losing their parishioners together with the parish’s income and financial liquidity”. He continues: “One day at church I found a trampled host in the pew – it was so pressed down to the ground that I could not lift it. Somebody received Holy Communion, spat it out, played with it like with a chewing gum and finally threw it to the ground and crushed it. How many people passed this host? Quite a few, I presume, but nobody got interested. In Great Britain or the United States it is possible to buy the consecrated host at a low price”. We have come to the point when Christ is sold once again. The Sold Saviour.
Since the arrival of the Son of God was preceded by Herod’s defiance, who murdered secretly all potential messiahs in Bethlehem (in Egypt, before the Exodus, the pharaoh murdered all boys, while during the Passover night all firstborn children in Egypt
died), we presume that in the times of Antichrist it will be children who are going to die on an unprecedented scale and in every possible way, like for example they may die spiritually or due to mass sexual assaults. This problem is very complicated, because on the one hand there is a lot of abuse in this respect, including the Church, but on the other hand societies are becoming increasingly sexualised. This applies to children, too. Imposed sex-education at schools and erotization of everything – especially social media and mass media – cannot lead to anything good. Yet another thing is that paedophilia is associated solely with priesthood, as if it did not exist anywhere else. Fr. Glass rightly reminds us about: ‘The plan [which] was revealed by Bella Todd, a former American communist converted to Catholicism, during her testimony before the Committee on Un-American Activities. “Today we collect the fruits of those actions. Of course everyone is entitled to go astray, fall, make a mistake. To continue to err, however, and to hide it is something devilish”’.
Let me quote Father Oko’s comment on statistics that show real intentions of film directors of the latest productions on paedophile misconduct. They suggest that this type of crime is committed solely by the clergy. Fr. Dariusz Oko publicly declared in front of a television audience:
There is a lot of talk about priests, but in my diocese only one out of two thousand and two hundred priests was sentenced for paedophilia. In the last ten years approximately six thousand people were sentenced for paedophilia in Poland, out of which twenty seven were priests. This is less than half a permil3.
Social attention is drawn solely to this small group, as if other criminals did not exist. This procedure reveals real intentions.
Children were killed by the pharaoh before Israel escaped from Egypt. Children were murdered before the Messiah revealed Himself to free us from the oppression of sin. Children will be murdered before Christ’s return and finally children will be the aim for apocalyptic dragon in his battle with the Woman (Rev 12:4.17). The author of the Book of Revelation saw how the dragon, being unable to put his claws on the boy born of the Woman, focuses his murderous attention on the rest of Her children. A broader interpretation of this vision is to see in these children every individual born out of the amniotic fluid of baptism and immersed in Christ. However, a more detailed
interpretation concerns Catholics who devote themselves in a special way to His Mother. They wish to be like Jesus and children of this Woman – Mary!
Antichrist will most of all want to cut children off from the sacraments, because the sacraments guarantee a real contact with God though Christ. He will seek to unite Catholics with Protestants which, as a result, will lead to so called pan-Christianity. This form of religion will serve a global government. One of the elements of controlling people is, apart from fear, famine and addiction, sex. Many of you may have already heard about a book by Michael Jones entitled Libido Dominandi: Sexual Liberation and Political Control. The book describes how ruling elites that control sexual lives of citizens, being their most vulnerable point, gain power in this area. They start with little children offering them displays and screens on which they can see everything. Little windows you can watch and get addicted to, windows you can watch and be watched by those who at some point will do anything they wish to do with you. These children are no longer looked after by their parents. Parents are glad that their children immersed in displays and windows of the Internet, do not disturb them! We need to pray that Mary and Joseph find these children, so that Jesus can live in them. Antichrist strikes at the naïve innocence of the youngest. He tries to defile
them, to make them resemble 12 year old Jesus lost by His parents, but this is impossible because no child is ever lost to God. On the other hand it is through the guidance of Mary and Joseph that everyone can come to resemble Jesus and His purity, wisdom and humbleness. This is why Fr. Peter writes: “It is interesting that the crisis is correlated with the fall of the Marian devotion. The less Marian the Church becomes, the less prayers to the Mother of God is said, the worse the situation becomes in terms of morality and internal work on holiness. Where there is no Mother of God, the Purest Virgin, a terrible filth and sin is to be found”. Those who avoid Her and Joseph, have no chance to become like Jesus. The only thing they can do is to defile Him.
Satan will secretly spread death in the name of life. Killing man before he even appears is his masterpiece! All of a sudden, our children will be lost and disappear, or they will not show up at all. In fact Antichrist will be an atheist and instead of devotion to the Mother of God he will preach the worship of Mother Earth, pachamama – she will be the only one, earth-nursing mother, the one who protects! In his preaching the earth is the sister of humankind!
The ultimate fate of Antichrist is described in the Bible – Saint Paul in his prophecy on the Parousia in
the Second Letter to Thessalonians says that Antichrist shall be destroyed by Jesus “with the breath of His mouth”. This is an interesting expression – Jesus will do it by His breath, silent breeze, wordless blow and gust of lips… all we need to do is to survive and not get deceived. We should not give up without a fight. No fighter should believe that he will avoid wounds, as Abba Arnis said. Mary is telling us now: “Keep fighting, you are chosen. I am on your side. It is all going to pass, do not be discouraged when you are scandalised”. Marian apparitions should always be seen in the context of the Bible. When we see the state of the world and the Church today it is easy to lose hope. However, Mary does not forget about Her children in need. Just as the invisible Son of God could become visible in a human body, thanks to Mary; Antichrist, who continually ties to remain unnoticed, cannot remain hidden when he places himself beside Her… She revealed God in a human body to us and She is the one who exposes Antichrist.
I encourage you to read Fr. Peter’s book because we are pressed for time, or to be more precise there is no time anymore. We should convince our own soul to be faithful to God, and this faithfulness is simply impossible without finding refuge in Mary’s caring arms.

Our Lady at Akita
Father Stefano Gobbi, Our Lady’s Secretary wrote that Mary is frightful and powerful. Frightful to all that is demonic, and powerful when giving us Her protection. How do we interpret the events of past decades? What does Virgin Mary want to tell us about the times of confusion we live in? What hope does She leave us with? Father Peter Glas, who has o ered his entire priestly life to Mary, leads us through successive messages of Our Lady – at Fatima, Akita, Kibeho and La Salette – where She called for the conversion of hearts. Her messages are a response to today’s crisis of faith. ey are also an accurate indication of what we should do to prepare for the Second Coming of Our Lord.
In the times of a moral and spiritual tragedy of the Church, facing the drama of faith of laity and priests, the only thing that can save us is listening to the voice from heaven – Mary’s call.
Father Peter Glas – author of many books, retreat preacher, and former exorcist. He currently works in the Diocese of Portsmouth.
