The best vappu of all time

Hi again!

Spring is finally here! It is more enjoyable to walk to the university in the morning when the sun is shining. I hope you have had a nice spring! When spring comes, Vappu also comes and it’s just around the corner.

As a fourth year student, it’s a bit comical that in fact this is also the first proper student vappu for me. Corona took the first two Vappus off and last spring I spent it in an exchange. Although I have many fun memories from those Vappus too, it is nice to be finally able to spend the Vappu just like it is supposed to be spent! It is great to meet up with friends, enjoy the spring sun in the Hoviska and have a little bit of fun before summer.

But this spring has also been a lot of fun! Varied events, many laugh-filled moments in the W-room, course tasks done together as a team and unforgettable memories. Gladly, the exams are starting to slowly pass, so the work is done. So now it’s time to enjoy, we all have deserved it!

Vappu will be a wonderful time. Vaasa’s event offering is the most versatile during Vappu and there are enough events for every day. I want to believe that everyone can find events that are interesting. There will be many traditional events, but also new things. As a big fan of brunches, I definitely look forward to Vappu brunches, but also to the sun in the Hoviska and seeing friends everywhere. Let’s make this Vappu together the best Vappu of all time!
