Sangria & SunWhat’s not to like?

Our journey started way too early on Tuesday morning. The train strike caused some problems for everyone getting to Helsinki-Vantaa airport, but all of us managed to arrive on time. When we arrived in Barcelona, Alvaro was waiting for us and gave us exact rules on how to behave in the apartments.
So what comes to your mind when someone says Barcelona? We would say sangria, sun, delicious food, boat trips, and a great time with friends. And that’s what our excursion was all about! We had an amazing group and enjoyed our time every single moment.

Of course, we had to admit that everything didn’t go as planned. One time, one of us was locked out of his apartment in the middle of the night and had to knock on Ilona’s door to get in. Also when our group went to the Opium club (local Fontana), one person was not careful enough with his pockets although Alvaro warned us that we are in the most dangerous area in the world. As a result, one phone got lost and the person had to pay a visit to a local police station.
We also did some really basic tourist stuff! The boys had a trip to Camp Nou and had a chance to touch the grass where Messi has been running. Also, they visited the dressing rooms, the negotiations rooms, and on the museum tour. We also went to see the really famous eternal building project, Sagrada Familia. The days were also full of shopping and eating in restaurants that shared a lot of opinions - some of which caused not so good experiences. We also had a boat trip together and one of us won the most important competition for studentsa free drink!
Let’s get to the most important part! Yes yes yes, we had a lot of parties and drained endless jugs of sangria. One night we had a super nice dinner together in a restaurant that let us be the DJs. Of course, it became a publicity stunt! The restaurant shared a video on their Instagram of us singing Finnish drinking songs. Have to say that it sounded awful but we had so much fun. The most important destination for business students was, of course, the stock exchange bar!
