From wide stretches of unspoilt coastline to rugged mountains, and from historic castles to friendly Northern towns and villages, all that is magical about this county is within easy reach. That also includes the area’s many tourist attractions such as Alnwick Castle and Garden, Kielder Forest, Holy Island and Hadrian’s Wall.

Private Subletting Private Subletting is a great way of earning an extra income from your Holiday Home. However much you want to rent it out is up to you. You can place your holiday home with a booking agency or you can advertise it right here on our page with a link to your booking system or with a direct number for that personal touch. It is entirely up to you and our teams on our parks will be more than happy to help and guide you through the process. We have seen a real growth in the sector of ownership on all our Holiday Parks as has the industry. Whilst the traditional methods of income from Bricks & Mortar have become restraining and the returns have diminished the Holiday sector has seen a boom. There are no long-term contracts and tenancy disputes along with stifling fees. Our private sub-let scheme on our parks is designed for you to do as little or as much as you wish.

We have a bookings package available with our preferred company which is Hoseasons. We also have the facility for you to advertise on our website along with links to your booking agency. We can help and assist with cleaning and maintenance teams in our parks. We can also demonstrate what returns you can expect. We also have a team member that can talk you through the whole process. Richard Saul is based at our Port Haverigg Marina Park and is experienced in selling Holiday Homes for investment reasons. He also has people who have been running Holiday Homes as investments so he can get you real-time information with regards to ROI. If you require any further information please click on the more information tab and fill out your details, please make sure to say it is for investment then we can make sure you are speaking to Richard who will give you the best advice.

Private Subletting

The Benefits of Subletting Our dedicated team know the best ways to earn a return on your holiday home and we’ll tailor a bespoke package that suits you and your lifestyle.

• Unlock the earning potential of your holiday home when you’re not using it • Flexible letting options • Dedicated staff who take care of everything, from start to finish Q. Is it possible to let my holiday home? Yes, subletting your holiday home when you’re not using it can be a great way to earn extra income to offset your running costs. You can do this yourself if you wish. As a leading park operator, we invest in extensive advertising marketing campaigns. This ensures that we attract thousands of holidaymakers each year, many of whom will be looking to let out a property like yours. Q. Can my family and friends come and visit? We find that more and more purchasers now are not just only thinking of how the holiday park could work for them but also for their children, grandkids and friends. Q. How long can I stay on park for? All our parks have holiday park licences, therefore they cannot be used to live on (Residential), but you can mainly come and go as and when you like during the year.

Port Haverigg Diaries Day 1 of my return to Port Haverigg Marina Village presented me with glorious weather and a chance to re-explore its beauty without interruption. My journal begins with the area of the park that attracts the most visitors over the course of the year – The Aqua Park and The Ski Bar. Complementing the 200 acre freshwater private lake, The Aqua Park offers owners and holidaymakers the chance to let their hair down (or not in my case, being bald!) and find their ‘inner youth’ by creating a huge splash in the water, whether that be a banana boat ride, wakeboarding or the star attraction – the inflatable obstacles. Some of our owners are keen sailors and watersports enthusiasts, and can often be seen on the lake in their own small vessels and/or showing off waterskiing and wakeboarding skills. I can personally highly recommend the inflatable obstacles, where I certainly found my ‘inner youth’ and enjoyed it as much as my two boys, if not more. Bookings are for 1 hour and you don’t need any longer I can promise you but…..what a blast!! For those who prefer to get wet in an alternative way, by virtue of a beverage passing their lips, they can sit back and relax either from The Aqua Park’s designated Viewing Point or by sitting down in The Ski Bar’s large outdoor seating area, and watch their family and friends have unforgettable fun whilst soaking up the breath-taking panoramic views right across the lake and almost

the entire park – even the stunning backdrop of the mountains and beyond. The Ski Bar welcomes owners and visitors alike all year round and offers a very warm, family friendly atmosphere. Inside you are greeted with a nice open dining area with a mixture of high tables with bar style stools and cosy benches. For the guests who are dining, the menus present plenty of variety including firm favourites such as burgers and pizzas, alongside other mouthwatering modern choices like Halloumi fries. Refreshments of the liquid variety cater for a wide range of palates from a selection of beers, lagers and ciders, both bottled and on draught, draught Guiness, chilled wines and of course (and what bar wouldn’t have one in the 21st century) – a Gin bar boasting an impressive and diverse choice of flavours. Port Haverigg Marina Village has a selection of statics & lodges buy. Many plots benefit from gorgeous views & there is a lovely Children’s play area onsite as well. I look forward to seeing you here” , Richard Saul, Port Haverigg.
