GirlsCAN STEM Initiative Wyndham Tech School has created a blueprint to help address the low uptake of girls into STEM qualifications and careers. The GirlsCAN initiative aims to provide multiple touch-points for female students, school leaders, teachers, career advisors, parents, carers, and the community.
Advisory Group
Establish an advisory group to oversee and implement the blueprint. The advisory group will advocate and promote the work of the Tech School and GirlsCAN STEM initiative.
Goals
Establish GirlsCAN Female students will be selected through EOI to participate in a 12month program. The program includes:
After School Girls Game Dev Design and create a game within a game. Voluntary, 10 week online program.
