Student Leaders of 2022 during their first teamwork activity

Welcome to Term Two Term One welcomed 1,354 students and 78 teachers through our doors with our most popular program being the Future of Work, followed by F1 in Schools. It was fantastic having so many students together in person again, with lots of laughter and noise echoing through the Tech School. Highlights included the kick-off of our Student Leadership program, where 22 students across multiple partner schools signined up to be involved. We held our inaugural Industry Robotics Showcase in partnership with ABB Robotics and Wyndham City Council. 44 local businesses attended to learn about innovations in robotics, and how this can be applied into their businesses. We launched our remote and virtual programs with secondary schools outside our LGA who do not have physical access to the Tech School. We have lots happening in Term Two, with the launch of our CSIRO CyberTaipan Challenge, Microsoft Excel Certifications, AWS Inspiring Women in Tech Event, and the completion of our Smart Cities space and production studio. We look forward to seeing you all again this term.
