Wyndham Tech School Team

Welcome to 2021 I hope you are all refreshed and your students are settling in well. The team at Wyndham Tech School are keen to share with you what’s on offer in Term One.

The Student Voice Our focus this year is the student, we are keen to provide as many opportunities as possible for students to lead Tech School initiatives. We will be launching a STEM Leadership program that will provide students with opportunities to connect with industry through panel discussions and podcast interviews, act as mentors and advocate for younger students and contribute to an advisory group to help steer the vision of the Tech School. If your school is interested in being part of this initiative please email: Julie.Duncan@vu.edu.au

Digital Twin

Updated Spaces When you visit Wyndham Tech School, you will notice some changes such as our new Factory of the Future and Digital Twin where students will engage with process automation principles and practice using industrial and collaborative robots to solve complex problems. Our new Design Studio mimics industry, students create content for the holographic wall, develop concepts using CAD software as well as undertake cyber exercises. We were lucky enough to have Hayden Dewar, local artist, paint a magnificent mural sparking inspiration for what is possible when students are working in the design studio. Should your school be interested in a tour of our updated spaces please email: Julie.Duncan@vu.edu.au
