Welcome to Term Four The Wyndham Tech School team have enjoyed working with many of you in Term 3, we engaged with just over 3,310 students through two weeks of onsite programs and eight weeks remotely. Lynne Telfer led a highly successful 10-week afterschool game development program with 130 students registering from across 10 schools. Students came together in their own time to build a game within a game taking on a variety of roles and responsibilities such as artist, designer, coder, storyteller and animator. Students have appreciated the distraction and comradery during another challenging term of remote learning.

Community Engagement Wyndham Tech School participated in Wyndham’s Learning Festival in August, the team presented a sold-out Cyber Awareness workshop to local community members, with many requesting a copy of the recording to share with family and friends. Pepper our humanoid robot was invited back to the Covid Vaccination Hub to provide clinical information and act as a distraction for community members.
