It is certain that Villages in the city (ViCs) are going to be altered and merged into the urban context, however, in what way it should be transformed is still under discussion. This design is seen as an opportunity to express the development under multiple drives other than economy only. The idea behind the transformative Lijiao landscape design is to use ViCs and its waterways to create a comprehensive system which will benefit not only the village itself but also the whole city, by reducing the risk of urban flooding, improving the ecosystem, providing qualified outdoor space, restoring the valuable pattern, and more importantly, bringing an alternative to the methodology of transformation of

The south-east corridor has a long history as residential area out of Oslo. Gjersrud-Steinsrud, as the last virgin land in Oslo municipality, has the chance to experience a unique inhabitant development. The idea of “Forest village� lets nature foster new vibrant neighborhoods. The present status as agriculture sites will be kept and wetlands, meadows and other valuable nature resources will be preserved to the utmost extent. 6500 newcomers will be distributed into the land without disturbing the existing ecology system yet enhances the surrounding nature’s presence.

mOBILE CONFECTIONARY hackney wick, London
The mobile confectionary is housed on the back of the WOW Milk Float, a mobile production unit roams Hackney Wick and its surrounding areas. The area used to own by the confectioner Clarnico but today it is the most diverse borough in London. The mobile confectionary will gather the community and work as an open resource platform for local residents to introduce their own background by sharing the knowledge of sweets producing and recall the area’s sweet history. Materials for the structure are collected from the waste of local business and the mechanisms for materials and the structure were designed and tested in 1 to 1 model on site.

The Yingjiang overall design scheme illustrates an innovative possibility for 宁波市鄞州区鄞江镇总体设计竞赛 宁波市鄞州区鄞江镇总体设计竞赛 suburban development in China. The tea-fiiled mountains are seen as a resistance to NINGBO YINJIANG CONCEPT MASTERPLAN COMPETITION 02 Overall Design Scheme of Yinjiang Town urban development while the plain opens to both building and farming. Villages are categorized depending on their quality and location for the further development. New water system is constructed collaborating with storm water management, irrigation and entertainment. A large ‘Yinjiang Agro-Ecological Central Park’ will contribute to the food security problem now faced by most Chinese cities.

This is a high-density housing site with 21 twenty-seven-story residential towers with ground floor elevated and 16 seven-story residential buildings. The open space layout is comprised of three layers of gardens, each creating a unique environment for the tenants. The water garden is the public face of the project and consists series of fountains and cascades. The oasis gardens are semi public outdoor space that serves the surrounding area and the ground gardens provide more privacy and meditative mood.

Groruddalen is dominated by car. Alna River, a valuable nature resource at valley floor, is isolated from the other landscape elements. The journey from the forest edge to the floor is time-consuming and unpleasant. The idea of Forest to Floor is a light infrastructure for comprehensive path movement, which proposes a simple solution that needs only one person and three machines to reduce the 1/6 path length and the accessibility of valley floor will be remarkably improve.
