Today, we had a strong start which was verypleasingandwewereabletoplayour game. Our attack line worked together impressively, capitalising on opportunities provided by our hard defensive work. It was great today to be able to get some of our juniors on the court. Well done to Ellie Charlotte and Lucy for coming on and playing their part in this team win. Well done everyone keep working hard at trainings!

Last week saw us take on East. Our first quarter was a little shaky with us playing catch-upnetballbutintheendwewereup by 1. With positional changes the girls adapted well and started to play better netball. Daena played an extraordinary game in keeper and got many rebounds and intercepts and the goalies capitalised by scoring the goal. The final 3 quarters wereveryconsistentwithscoredifference and we finished up winning our 3rd game inarowbeatingEast29–41.

Atoughfightbythegirlsbutunfortunately wentdownintheendtoEast,losing29-37. Seen some major improvement from the girls never giving up and implementing everything talked about. Was a rough day for the shooters, being pushed around forcing them to work hard for their goals. Our mid courters absolutely killed it applying the pressure all over the court and creating some great passages of play resulting in some well earnt goals Defenders did well to hold off some very strong east shooters Will continue to build on the momentum to take on the Southies.

WelinedagainsttheEastgirlstodayandin our previous games we only just came away with the wins by 1 goal so it was going to be a tough game for us. Our defence in Tully Ellie and Halle put the pressureonfromthestart,Charlotteinthe C position brought the ball down to our attack girls with her usual skill and with Alex at the WA position feeding it into the goalies, Aleisha and Imogen. After half timeMacycameonatGKandLucyintoGS. All four quarters were very even with neither team making a break away At the final whistle we were 3 goals down. With 3gamestogoweneedtokeepbelievingin ourselves as I know we have the team to becompetitiveinfinals.

U13Bs West 18 defeated by East 32 best players Savannah Riddoch and Hannah Jackson Game Day awards Harper Lindner andSavannahRiddoch
The West 13B girls stared strong against a strong East lineup. Leading from the front was the captain Hannah Jackson in GA, combine well the Isobel Richards at GS who was playing her 50th game. They were being feed well by Harper Lindner WA and Savannah Riddoch C. Working hard in defence were Molly Thomas GK, Ruby Lamb GD and Chaneil Cowland WD At the end of the first quarter the girls were down by 3. Heading into the 2nd quarter the girls worked hard and come within 1 goal. However that was short lived with the East girls putting their foot down and extended their lead to 9 at the half time break. West made 1 change, Molly to the bench and Aggie Thomas to GK. East extended their lead at the 3rd quarter break to 13. Again West made changes.Chaneiltothebench,Mollyonat GDandRubyatWD
The West girls were able to stem the flow of goals only losing the quarter by 1 goal. Theywentdown18-32.
U11s West 5 defeated by East 16 best players Zoe Bonney-Dowson and Emily Lamb
Another great game by the girls against a tall East side The girls remained very competitive throughout the 6 quarters. We must remember to spread out and come forward to receive the ball from our team mates Very impressed with our chasing of loose balls and not letting go of the ball which we practice at training.
