Youth League convenes successful RGC

KwaDukuza police have opened a cs of murder after the body of Sithembiso Majola (49) was found decomposed and naked, on the floor of his bedroom, in the area of Shombela in Melville.

KwaDukuza SAPS communications officer Constable Siphesihle Myeni said the gruesome discovery was made by police on Tuesday last week, after they were directed to the scene by a complainant who arrived at the police station to report a case of murder and housebreaking.

Myeni said upon arrival of officers, the victim's decomposed body was found lying naked on the floor, with footprints inside the house as well as signs of forced entry. The complainant further informed officers that a TV was missing from the house. The deceased was staying alone.

Man shot dead in Sheffield

Police in Umhlali have opened a case of murder after a man was gunned down in Sheffield, on Tuesday this week. According to IPSS Medical Rescue, the victim was declared on the scene, after sustaining a fatal gunshot wound.

“Eyewitness reports state that the man appeared to have been accosted by a group of men resulting in him being shot. All suspects fled the scene. No further injuries have been reported," stated IPSS Medical Rescue. At the time of going to press, the motive for the murder had not been established. Police are investigating.
