With his long, silky, fluorescent white beard, making him look like a holy figure or an ultimately thin Santa, Leland Sklar, one of the planet’s most iconic bass phenomenas, sat prepared to shed some sunshine, effervescence and humor on his legendary career and his highly anticipated coffee table book.
