Floating Theater. NY Olympics 2012 Date Software Description
:November 2004 :3D Studio Max R6 Photoshop 7 :Made during my internship at Shigeru Ban (SBA).New York is one of the candidate city for hostingthe Olympics of 2012.New York asked SBA todesign a floating theater that can have two stage setups. I was asked to make a 3D presentation. Because of a tight deadline a other intern did the Photoshop part of the image. The image is published and printed on posters.

:March 2005 :3D Studio Max R6, Illustrator, Autocad : For this project we had to design an office building with 3 divisions, a part for rent and a museum. For this assignment I applied the same grid pattern as used in the Honey’s project of Shigeru Ban Architects.

:May2005 :3D Studio Max R6, Pencil : School assignment for designing a boathouse with recreation area. My concept was to use the saloon of a sailing boat as a reference. Because of this I deepened the recreation area. The roof covers all functions so everything is integrated.

:November 2006 :Autocad & Photoshop : This series of isometry I made during my graduation internship at Jo Coenen &Co Architects. The purpose of the series is to make this complex building easier to understand for other people and also serves as an analyses before I started to work on my own interior variant of the Foyer. The enlarged isometry shows the variety in floor heights on each level. The other isometry show which area’s where involved in the interior design, public and private area’s, connection of elevators and stairs between floors and the movement of the public.
