Still ahead of the curve Edgy new styling keeps the Bandit 650 far out in front of the competition. The sharp new design is a reection of the future, headlined by sleeker headlights, newly styled frame covers, a slimmer tail light, newly shaped mu!er ends and, on the half-faired Bandit 650S, a newly styled cowling. Since a well-designed engine is a thing of beauty to a motorcycle enthusiast, the symmetrical, centre-cam-drive engine has a striking black nish and is exposed for ready admiration. Newly designed instrumentation promotes legibility for easy riding and is incorporated into a single sleek housing. An analogue tachometer is complemented by an LCD digital speedometer and by an LCD fuel gauge and clock. Other indications include lamps for neutral position, oil pressure, high beam, and water temperature and, for extra rider condence, a gear-position indicator. On the naked Bandit 650, the circular shape of the halogen multireector headlight on earlier models has been replaced with an edgier, more futuristic shape. A sculpted cover between the steering head and fuel tank forms part of a sporty prole. On the half-faired Bandit 650S an aerodynamically e"cient half-fairing incorporates stacked high- and low-beam multi-reector headlights. The half-fairing also incorporates handy left- and right-hand storage bays for small items. Plus, newly designed rearview mirrors and turn-signal lights combine great style with fu nction.

liquid-cooled engine delivers a nely tuned balance of
power and torque with smooth, rened throttle response. Whether negotiating city tra"c, passing slower vehicles on a motorway, or winding down
The Bandit delivers total balance—a calculation that starts from a wheelbase of 1,470mm, rake of 26°, and trail of 108mm. Plush front forks give 130mm of wheel

Double overhead camshafts act directly on bucket tappets for smooth
system designed to respond smoothly to road irregularities. Rear shock rebound
running and positive valve actuation at high revs. Race-proven Suzuki
damping and spring preload are adjustable.

heat transfer and ring sealing while reducing blowby and mechanical losses. Suzuki’s Dual Throttle Valve (SDTV) fuel-injection system, an automatic Idle Speed Control (ISC) system, and a Pulsed-secondary AIR-injection (PAIR) system further promote power, fuel e"ciency, and emissions performance. A six-speed transmission with a hydraulic clutch actuation system makes it easy to pull the clutch lever.
A single 240mm rear brake disc has a dual-piston caliper. An optional digitally controlled antilock braking system (ABS)* matches stopping power to available traction. *Please note that ABS is a supplemental device for brake operation, not a device for shortening stopping distance. Always remember to ruduce speed su"ciently before approaching curves, corners and tra"c congestion.
Adjustability for comfort

The handlebars can be set in either of two positions, which are 10mm (0.4 inch) away from each other in line with the forks, and a system of reversible spacers allows the seat to be raised or lowered by 20mm. The clutch and brake levers each have four-position adjustability; they can be moved closer to or farther from the handlebars.
When freedom calls, you’ve got the answer. Few motorcycles live up to the promise of freedom like the new Bandit. With total balance of performance. Ride comfort unrivalled in its class.
Center Stand
20mm (0.8 in) adjustable seat height
And edgy new styling that’s an irresistible invitation to ride. When you hear the call of freedom, be ready with the total answer: the Suzuki Bandit 650.
