The Thailand Bucket List 18 Day Tour
Day 1 Arrival in Bangkok You will be met on arrival in Bangkok by your group leader and taken to our guesthouse near the famous Khao San Road where you will spend the first two nights. There you will meet the rest of the group and have a free day to chill out or explore. It's all about getting to know everyone settling in and taking in the craziness that is Bangkok. In the evening we will arrange to meet for dinner so you can get to know your group. It also means that you can arrive at any time on day one. Afterwards you can go on for a few drinks on Khao San or recharge the batteries ready for tomorrow's activities.
DAY 1-8
Day 2 Secrets of Ancient Bangkok The best way to see Bangkok is from a boat on the Chao Phraya River. Hop on hop off public ferry this ain't. We comendeer a longtail boat and take you on a whirlwind tour through the back canals and waterways of the old centre of Bangkok. This is the best way to see the city and certainly not a perspective that most backpackers get. You will be able to see some amazing sights before stopping to see two of the most important temples in Thailand. You will get a Thai tour guide at one of the temples and learn a bit about Thai history and culture. You may also get to be blessed by the monks. And let's face it on this trip you're going to need all the luck you can get.You will then get to ride a Tuk Tuk back though Bangkok to Khao San Road where we will have lunch (Scorpion buckets optional). In the evening your Group Leader can show you the best places to eat and drink in Bangkok if you want to experience some of the nightlife.
Day 3 Overnight Train & Massage In the morning we will go to a local spa for a traditional Thai Massage. This is the perfect way to relax before the overnight train and an awesome experience for anyone who has not tried it before. You have a free afternoon to explore Bangkok, do some shopping or have a beer by the pool with your new buddies. We meet in the evening to catch the overnight train where you can chill with the group, catch up on sleep or take in the views of both Bangkok and the Thai countryside as we travel south to our next destination.
Day 4 Khao Sok National Park This is one of the most incredible places in Thailand. Often overlooked by backpackers and travellers to Thailand as most have never heard of it and certainly wouldn’t know how to find it, even those who know about it generally miss it as it generally costs around £150-£200 just to get there and stay for one night! Not with our connections! If you come with us it’s all included in the tour price, plus we even chuck in all your meals whilst we are there!... We stay in unique and very cool floating bamboo raft houses and spend the day chilling on the lake, tubing, rafting cliff jumping, swimming and generally enjoying an unbelievable destination which has barely been touched by tourism.
Day 5 To Koh Phanang & Bottle Beach We leave Khao Sok by long tail boat then catch a ferry to the awesome island of Koh Phangan! Our destination is Bottle Beach. This secluded and magical stretch of sand Is legendary among backpackers. This is where the whole backpacking scene started, amongst these islands and bottle beach has always been one of the ultimate places to reach. Not but it's always been easy it is very secluded and was only accessible by boat . That meant backpackers would turn up here stay for days until their food supplies ran out (which they had to bring in themselves). These days it is still quite remote but a little bit more accessible and we will take you hear the the ultimate chilled afternoon. Swap stories with people from all over the world and spend a very special evening here under the stars where we can have our own private beach party around a camp fire. Tonight you will be staying in beach front bungalows and this will probably be a night you will never forget.
Day 6 Elephant Trekking & Haad Rin Home Of The Full Moon Party. Today you will have the morning to laze around on Bottle Beach or make use of the resort facilities if you choose. Whether you want to play beach volleyball, kayak or chill by the pool, the choice is yours. In the afternoon we will get a taxi boat over to the next town where you will get to go Elephant Trekking and play with the resident monkey before going to check out the waterfall (seasonal). Late afternoon we head back to our resort in Haad Rin where you can again relax before getting ready for dinner (on us!). We will take you to one of the best restaurants on the island and then head down to the beach for some farewell fun and perhaps a bucket or two with your new friends to celebrate an awesome week!
Day 7 Haad Rin: Elephant trekking & Luxury Guesthouse Its an action packed day today: Exploring Phangan island by boat. Snorkelling checking out viewpoints, beaches and waterfalls. Free lunch & drinks on the boat then back to Haad Rin for farewell dinner (on us) and party on the beach. We arrive in the early evening and have some free time before heading out for a bite to eat and to check out the world famous Haad Rinn Beach, home of the Full Moon Party! If you would rather stay in and relax you can, the resort has all the mod cons (aircon, cable tv, ensuite bathrooms, swimming pool, bar etc...)

Not done yet? Stay longer! Day 12-15: Heading West You’ve come to the end of your stay on Koh Tao, but don’t worry; there are lots more beautiful beaches and islands waiting to be explored in Thailand. One of those beaches is Railay on the west coast of Thailand; one of the most remarkably beautiful beaches on earth. Although Railay is on the mainland, it is only accessible by boat so you’ll still feel like you’re on a remote tropical island, surrounded by scenery that looks like it’s been taken straight from a postcard. Here you can relax, play, drink, eat and enjoy your surroundings, in between more intensive activities such as snorkelling, sea kayaking and rock climbing. Make sure to climb up to the lagoon viewpoint for some of the most fantastic views in the country. The nightlife in Railay is always buzzing, with fire shows a regular fixture of the nightly entertainment around the many bars and restaurants.
DAY 12-18
Day 15-17: Island Bliss We’re sure you’ve heard about your next location; the absolutely beautiful Maya Bay; so good it even stole the limelight from Leonardo DiCaprio in the film The Beach! You’ll get to spend two glorious days on Phi Phi Island, taking a sunset boat trip around the other islands including Maya Bay, Monkey Island and the Viking Caves. Free lunch will be served on the boat before continuing on for more snorkelling and swimming back in the emerald waters of Phi Phi Island. In the evenings, hang out with the group, enjoy some drinks and the nightlife, or do some amazing night swimming among the ‘glow in the dark’ plankton.
