September 2013 Issue www.xtremeprojectsgroup.com A B us y M o n t h f o r X t re m e P ro je c t s August was an Xtremely busy month for us, with many of our staff members working in different locations, nationally and internationally. We had a group of “our boys” salvaging oil from the Frotamerica, which ran aground in Namibia near Luderitz. They returned a while ago, victorious in their efforts, with the vessel being drained of oil. We also attended to the Kiani Satu which although sunken now, caused havoc on some of our beaches. We sent a team out to Knysna to assist with pollution control and we still have a team of “sweepers” assisting with beach clean-ups .
Xtreme Projects Namibia was officially launched. We anticipate big things from the dynamic team up there and Xtreme Projects Western Cape has been working 24/7 to get their new offices in Paarden Island up to scratch. Back in PE our entire team was rigged out in new state-of-the-art flame retardant jumpsuits and they all looked exceptionally handsome at our recent photoshoot!
Our Xtreme sponsored soccer team, The All Stars, led by our very own Hazmat Supervisor, Lennon Sonjica won the coveted Nomathembu Tournament, beating 16 other hopefuls. Congratulations to our All Stars!
