Overdrawn at the Fuck Bank Acclaimed performer and Commedia dell’arte maestro Antonio Fava describes Commedia as “the genre of theater that expresses the present as it moves.” However, what if that present refuses to express itself through movement? What if, instead, it is defined by the act of waiting? Whether it’s waiting for the Mueller Report (or, nowadays the full report), waiting for a candidate to challenge the Cheeto-in-Chief in 2020, or the daily grind of waiting to see if this day is going to be better than the last, our current moment seems to be an anxious ball of potential energy about to explode. We all need to wait and see what the future has in store. Otherwise, I guess we’ll just have to (Circle all that apply):
