WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED AND WHAT DO YOU DO? I live in Spokane, WA and lived here with my 5 children since 1992. My children are now grown and have given me 8 grandkids....so far. Being a Grandma is my favorite job! Every Sunday, I also teach children at my church. For fun I love to play tennis,
work in my flower garden, take walks and listen to music. Consuming coffee is a wonderful, daily habit! When all my children were young, I never wanted to work outside the home nor did I want to put my kids in daycare. Yet, we definitely needed extra money. So, to add 4

to the income of our family, I decided to start my own business with a Wellness Company. Switching to safer, non-toxic products made complete sense to me. I loved that I didn’t have to have an inventory, take orders, make deliveries, do any billing or collections or sell products to anyone. I could simply share my passion
of helping others rid their homes of toxic chemicals by introducing them to the online wellness shopping club. That is what I have been doing for the last 23 years. I can’t imagine doing anything else. As a single Mom, I’ve appreciated the time and financial freedom it afforded me!
HOW AND WHEN DID YOU START YOUR HLN? In 2017, I was invited to my first Heart Link Networking luncheon. From the very first meeting I have loved it and attended every month for 2 years. The Leader asked if I would like to take over the chapter in January of this year. It has been a wonderful experience on so many levels! Meeting with amazing women every month, learning about one another’s businesses and becoming friends is the best part of all!

We all support one another, patronize each other and give as many referrals as we possibly can!!
WHAT CAN WE DO TO HELP YOU MORE? The support from Heart Link Network has been amazing! Any question, any problem, anything at all, they are there to help us Leaders. All of the encouragement, advice and ideas they offer I truly appreciate. It’s a great feeling to know there are other chapters all over the USA, so we are never alone.
HOW DOES HLN AFFECT YOUR BUSINESS AND LIFE? Being a part of HLN has added a greater dimension to my activity in the community! Meeting other professional, business-minded, entrepreneurial women in my area has been a big goal of mine. It has been nice to have a great group of HLN women that I can invite others to come visit our meeting. Hopefully they will also want to be a part of our group and invite others also.

DO YOU HAVE ANY TIPS FOR YOUR HLN SISTER LEADERS? Keeping every meeting fun, exciting and giving as much attention to each member is top priority. We make sure to leave plenty of time for every woman to share what they do and how we can all be on the lookout for others who may benefit from their product or service. The key is making sure the meeting benefits everyone, making the best use of our time together!
