• Chhatrapati Shivaji International Terminal 2 (Mumbai, India) Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport is an example of centralized terminal planning. The retail and engagement activities are concentrated in the center and the wings then spread out in different directions. The walking distances to the gates are shown in Figure 2.16 CSIA T2 Level 3 (departures)It can be seen in the layout that all the activities are concentrated in the center while wings do not engage in any other activity than waiting. And the walking distance from the center to the wings makes the passengers be waiting at the gate rather than engaging in other activities.
