LETTER FROM THE EDITOR School is OVER!!!!!! As of June 5th, 2014, our school is now officially over. This means that Seniors will now graduate and we would be meeting new members this August. As we wait for school to start again, we can bask out in the sun and regain the Vitamin D’s that missed. Of course, it will be hard to inform everyone about the events but
NHHS Key Club officers will try our best to bring everyone together. There will be several events during the Summer to keep everyone busy so don’t worry. Service never stops, even against Summer! I hope everyone has a nice vacation and hopefully you can join us for more Key Club love. Sincerely, YeChan Lee

Firemen Breakfast

May DCM D16 had its May DCM on May 17th starting at 2pm at Newhall Park. This DCM was held mainly to introduce the new D16 Leadership team. Unfortunately, not all leadership members were able to attend, but D16 White Tigers were able to meet most of them. North Hollywood HS Key Club, this year, has 3 officers serving in the leadership team. This includes Ashley Payne, our VP serving as Spirit Commissioner, Carla Gomez, our Secretary serving as Division Secretary, and YeChan Lee, our Bulletin Editor serving as Division News Editor.

North Hollywood High School attended the 10th Annual Old-Fashioned Pancake Breakfast for the Fire Fighters on May 10th. Not a lot of members were able to attend but, those who did said it was a memorable event and it was fun serving pancakes to people and fire fighters. There were many activities set up for the visitors, but mostly the target audience was little children. There were Minions from Despicable Me taking photos with the public and there was a line for trying out fire hoses. In the end, both Key Clubbers and the visitors had an amazing time.

After the workshops, Key Clubbers were able to receive their lunch in an orderly fashioned manner. The lunch included a choice of 3 different types of Subway sandwiches and water. During lunch time Key Clubbers were able to bond with each other as they talked about current issues and their goals for the future. There were some spirit show offs among the members and schools.
Division 16 had its Officer Training Conference on May 31st from 10 to 1PM at John Burroughs High School. The new D16 Leadership Team members were officially introduced to the officers of D16. There was a total of 3 sessions of workshops. These workshops included specific training for specific officers, and general workshops that went over International projects such as PTP and ELIMNATE.
