The portfolio shown here, illustrates the work done by ECOPA in the detailed planning, urban design and architectural design of the New city of Toshka in the deep South West of Egypt. The climate is hot arid, hence necessitating special treatment. Although ECOPA was in the phase of making the working drawings for the Project. The Ministry of Housing asked to stop the ongoing work. ECOPA was later informed that ready made designs from another Egyptian region in the South of Sinai will be used, because of the urgency and the need to start execution. Although it was a matter of days before ECOPA would had finished the full designs, this decision was made!. This is what the city of Toshka should have been, if the consultants' work was respected!
